Hello guys.. A little about myself. I am 28 years old, 5'5'', 180 pounds. I have always been a heavy set person. I recently lost a lot of weight. I was at 240 at one point. Anyways on to my problem. I have been feeling really depressed, low energy, super sleepy all day, easily irritated, etc for a VERY long time, years in fact. But I never had problems with libido, or erections etc. If anything I have always been a horn dog. For years though I went to a lot of different doctors and had every test under the sun, except for a testosterone check. Finally a friend of mine told me, "hey I go to a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) clinic and been taking testosterone injections and it has changed my life, you should check yours" I thought he was crazy because I was so young, never had problems with libido, and have always been super hairy (hes losing his hair at 28!). Anyways he finally convinced me and I went to get my levels checked.

My levels were as follows:
Estradiol 23.0 ph/ml
Prostate specific ag, serum: 0.5 ng/ml
testosterone 136 ng/dl,
hemoglobin 15.3 g/dl
LH 4.1 miu/ml
FSH 1.5 miu/ml
prolactin 8.5 ng/ml

so after a month of injections (test cyp), I felt a tiny bit better but nothing great at all!.. They retested my blood and it came back to:

Estradiol 31.0 ph/ml
testosterone 340 ng/dl
hemoglobin 15.5

For the first month I was on 100 dose injections now im at 140, its been almost two and a half months and I still dont see a drastic improvement. They put me on estrogen blockers, half of 1 Anastrozole 1mg pill, twice a week. So a total of 1mg a week. I am also on HCG injections into the belly now. But like I said, I still havent felt anything drastic. With all this stuff, shouldnt I be feeling good by now??? If anything im more sleepy now than ever. I also recently had a full MRI and I was told by the doc that I have tissue behind my breast so Im assuming ive been dealing with a hormone imbalance for a very long time. Can you guys please give feedback?? The testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) clinc so far seems like they know what they are doing but should I also see an Endo just to be safe?? Why would my testosterone levels be at 136 for a 28 yr old man??

Thanks

When you say you were on 100 dose injections, now on 140, what exactly do you mean? When are you injecting what?

I'd say that 340 is still way low, and that some people here have taken quite a few months to get decent effect.

100 mg I think is the dose?? Im on testosterone cyp.

the problem might by your thyroid. did they check those levels? thyroid problems can give you low T.

also im on 100mg a week and my levels are over 1000+ ng/DL
