Question about switching to subQ trt injections

I use 29g 1/2" and it works great. Might be worth giving a try. I use these:

Acne on back & stomach - E2 problem?

Why do you say it's the best? My doc sent me to an endo who's having me do a 3 part blood draw test tomorrow morning. Base line, then injection, draw at 30 minutes and then another draw at an hour. Why would saliva be better than blood?

Thinking of stopping TRT after 4.5mos

An alternative would be to go to an EOD dosing schedule of 28mg of testosterone, equaling 100mg per week. There will be less fluctuations in your levels, possibly decreasing estrogen levels. I'm currently doing this and have felt better than a 2X per week schedule. I've yet to get blood tests...

    Increased discomfort from smaller needle

I use 28g and 29g x 1/2" in quads and delts. No reason for bigger holes.

can someone tell me how I can get a Estrogen (Female Hormone Panel)

I'm in Central NY and my family doc runs estradiol and everything else I ask him for. Your doc is full of it. Where are you located? PrivateMDLabs won't work in NY. I used to use them in Nevada, they won't process orders for NY, and they do require ID here from my experience.

What are your estrogen levels like? Just curious.

Thank you. I don't have any complications, per se. But I don't feel like I'm getting the full benefit yet at my low dosage (50mg x 3.5 days). But I've also only had 7 injections thus far with #8 being tomorrow morning.

When a person starts TRT when should they get their first blood work? I've read 6 weeks most frequently but didn't know if this was a hard and fast rule. Would sooner, say 4 weeks, not be enough time for saturation?

Newb potentially starting TRT in the next few months. Advice?

Yep, that's all I do. Give him a list, go over it together, give him solid reasoning for the tests I'm requesting, and he takes care of the rest. You can go anywhere you like as far as I know. I haven't had any issues and have gotten my results usually in less than 24 hours.

I hear ya. I'm in central NY and we need a scrip here too. But, my doc has no issues with getting me blood work whenever I want it. Used to live in Nevada and it was quick & easy without needing a doc.

Have you thought about telling your doctor your concerns and asking him to write you a scrip for blood work? Might be just that easy.

I haven't found it to be too bad. But, I'm only at .25ml per injection. I can see it being a real pain with larger dosages.

Why not use a higher gauge (smaller diameter) needle? I use 29 and they work great.

    I'm a Sally and use 29g 1/2" insulin syringes. I don't feel them, literally. I'm on a 3.5 day schedule myself.
