The OP is one of the reasons why it's so hard to get TRT. Here is a 21 year old person, who has screwed up his endocrine system with illegal drug use and is now looking to tank his testosterone levels so he can get on legit TRT.
This right here is the reason why it's so hard to get TRT.
You don't need TRT, you need a good endocrinologist. You caused your poor health by taking steroids at 16 and screwing up your HPTA. Your body was still growing, adjusting, going through puberty, etc and you messed that up by doing drugs. Now, you'll have to find a good doc so you don't...
My old doc did the same thing. I knew TRT was for life so I entertained him. I went the month without TRT and came back. He gave me the script for the lab. I waited another couple of weeks and went to the lab. I came back for the follow up and he was shocked that I came back 100 points...
Don't hide it from the doc. If something goes wrong, they will try their best to cover their ass and blame you. Imagine if they found you were taking this controlled substance....this hormone that is so controversial and you failed to disclose it?
On another note, if you're transitioning out, make sure you get everything checked and documented in your medical records. Also, you have a year after you get out, in case you get some chronic problem, to get covered by the VA.
Get a sleep study done. Tell them you snore and want to get it...
I've got a friend who has been taking 600mg's of Test C, weekly, for over three years now straight and he's not dead. His hemo/hct is high but he gives bloods every 3 months and it works for him
Years ago, I would have told you that it's not possible but my friend's been doing it so I guess...
Also, some docs are smart. I had a friend try this. He did TRT for a few months to crash his test levels so he could get on TRT. The doc did a full panel (they usually do). When they saw his LH and FSH was 0.2, they knew something was up. They told him to be honest so they don't run more...
Google the Lemonade Diet and do that for 10 days before your test. The night before, stay up all night.
That will seriously tank your testosterone levels. One of my friends did that and came in at a blazing 180 or so and the doc immediately put him on T
I"m more worried about your glucose. Have you had your A1C checked? Your HDL is a little low too. How's your diet? I would also get more thyroid tests done (free T4, T3, RT3). You need Vitamin D too. What's your height and weight?
Thank you. I can admit when I'm wrong and in this instance, I was wrong. I was under the impression that exogenous test was the same as your own naturally produced test. I didn't think there would be a difference. It's only a different delivery system (or so I thought).
Again, I apologize...
So why are 18-29 year olds not having to constantly donate blood? They are at the peak of their hormonal levels. Why have I, who have cycled many times, and have been on TRT for 3 years never had to donate and my hemoglobin/hematocrit always stayed normal?
I know test stimulates RBC's, but...
