Does anyone know the record for benching 225 lbs the most times

Two of the best in NFL combines of some years ago were Bruce Clark and Ron Simmons.

    How big are your arms?

Anything over 17" is noticable in public. 18" and over you're in the very noticable category. 19" is huge, assuming in all of the above that there's some degree of density which increases the perception of size as does small or average bone structure.

    The Unbelievable Ronnie Coleman

Olympia handoff to Ronnie? Do you really think Arnold beat Sergio EVERY time after '69? Pumping Iron's one big Arnold promo-you really think he didn't know he was going to win beforehand? Notice they didn't even bother to show Sergio or Dave in the movie, where even a short clip on each should...

    Free weight alternatives

Dude the point is to have a quorum and gain insights through experiences, you've added nothing with your monosyllabic negativity. Nice language though, a class act and clearly very distinguished. Try a new approach that contributes something positive and implies that you have some degree of...

Of course I'm out of my mind, and your 21" arms further prove your point. I luuuuv the way these guys dismiss everything and play to the stereotypes. And I'm glad you cleared this up with Ronnie. Wish i could see the world this black and white - should i apologize now for my temerity?

Above, one firmly-in-the-box and CLASSIC pinhead, as predicted. You can't write this stuff...And more hearsay on the Bow. Sorry genius, hearsay's for knuckleheads.

    Free weight alternatives

Good leverage machines are to me the best pieces of equipment ever; best bicep pump ever was off a custom made leverage preacher bench that was part of one of only two NYC hardcore gyms of the early 80s. This was well before leverage was commonplace, all the leverage equipment was custom...

ez curl bar compared to straight.

A standard Olympic bar's just a little long for curls, for most bodybuilding movements best to use a shortened version of an Olympic bar. Drawback of the EZ curl bar is that it doesn't hit the bi's as directly, puts more emphasis on the forearms; sure it's a little more comfortable than a...

    Lower chest trouble

Dumbell pullovers will bring out the serratus muscles and trim the area between chest and back. Also side to side twists with a straight bar behind the neck hit that area as well as the obliques. Diet's also important to lose the fat covering the area.

    Lower chest trouble

Dips and pulley crossovers down low..if equipment's limited as it seems, use the decline of an ab slant board or weigh down one end of your bench and prop up 15-30 degrees, and do decline flyes and dumbell presses.

    Time Off

Good to take a week once every 6 months or so, when you start again there's a freshness that makes it worthwhile. A week off's not going to adversely effect you but definitely helps psychologically and aids the central nervous system.

    Overtraining = Ripped?

Ya man, if you're in good shape changing the reps won't hurt you at all if the diet and cardio's there. Try low reps as you've mentioned-sets of 5's for a couple of months, then try 10-12 reps/set for a couple of months, see which works for you-5s are too low for me but it might work for you...

Dave Draper's fav workout, what do you think ?

Too many sets, though it would seem to add refinement and quality; might be worth trying short term, for a few months just to see what it adds.

    stretching before workouts

Stretching seems to help reduce soreness sometimes. More important i think is a good warmup before a workout, definitely makes a difference in avoiding injuries..
