He did have a stroke a number years back but he is making a nice recovery and is no longer in a wheel chair. I met him at the Olympia and talked to with him. Very nice guy.
My herniation is in the same area L5-S1 plus I have 2 bulging discs L3-L4 and L5-L6.
I'll take some time off and hopefully I could lift heavy later on. I don't need to have surgery.
I was slotting to do a natural show next year guess I'll put that on hold.
Thanks for the info
Was wondering if anyone continued training after having a herniated disc. Pretty much my doctor told me that my bodybuilding days are over and that I have to lift really light.
Since I can't do squats or presses anymore my legs are going to suffer big time.
Thanks for your input.
Nice Guy
I met Tito at the 2003 Olympia. Very approachable and a very nice guy unlike some other bodybuilders out there. From what I saw he looks natural to me. Hope he competes again. One of the top Middleweights out there.
I cycle high volume 20 reps and next workout go higher weight lower volume 10 reps.
Do calves 3 times a week. Worked for me gained 3 inches on my calves over 2 years.
I met stan mcquay and tito raymond. Stan is definitely not natural anymore. Tito is definitely natural. I'm natural and Tito was the same size as me. I'm 5'8 185 lbs.
Stan was gigantic and ripped to shreds. He is definitely on the sauce.
