The first time it gets filtered after the pellets have been sitting in the heat for an hour.. my directions say to filter it through a coffee filter. However, I have already done this once before, and i noticed that in the 2nd filteration through the painters cap, it went much smoother..
So is there a specific reason why you must use a coffee filter to get rid of the binders with the heat and the pellets... or can i just only use a painters cap??
