10 X 10 Routine

hey guys just after a bit of advice.

i was in the gym last week and began ears dropping on a few of the locals and they were talking bout a 10 x 10 rountine that they had tried ova the years. from what i gather you choose one exercise, say bench, and do 10x10 then continue your workout with 2 more exercises, say flyes or incline, and do 2-3 sets of each with 10-12 reps. this would apply to all body parts. now as the weeks went on you would lower the reps you do for you chosen exercise eg

wk 1 10x10
wk 2 1x10, 9x9
wk 3 1x10, 1x9, 8x8
wk 4 1x10, 1x9, 1x8, 7x7

and so on until you reach

wk 10 1x10, 1x9, 1x8, 1x7, 1x6, 1x5, 1x4, 1x3, 1x2, 1x1

ok after all that is said and done my question to the 'wise ones' of steroidology is would this be an effective routtine to put on good size for my next comp in 11months time. has anyne heard or tried this personally

thanks for any help

Exactly, part of it sounds like GVT, then the rest of it sounds like just a bunch of other ideas thrown in.

Some respond to super high volume. Most don't.
