1st Cycle- 8 weeks Test Prop only

Hi guys,

Going to be running my 1st cycle next week- just after any critique!

Stats:
Age:24
Height: 6ft
Weight: 185lbs
BF: 17%

Trying to build a solid base of muscle to work from, keeping myself as lean as possible.

125mg Test Prop EOD
0.25mg Arimedex ED

PCT- 100mg of clomid for 21 days
20mg nolva for 30 days

Using needle 25gx1" and shooting into delt, thigh and glutes. 20g for draw

Diet of 3500 calories daily- 1.5g protein per lb and max 200g complex carbs per day (carb backloading)

Keeping sodium intake as low as possible and eating as clean as possible.

Any thoughts appreciated!

If it was me at your height and weight, staying lean would not be an issue as it will result in not so much muscle being packed on. To grow you must eat, and over eat which will result in some fat. But the fat comes off later. I would decide either you want to stay lean, or you want to grow muscle, and then attack one of those issues properly as adding muscle and staying ripped is nearly impossible to do.
 
Thanks olddawg, I will up the calories then! Size is priority over keeping lean at this stage. Hoping to keep 10lbs of mass after PCT if possible.
 
What is your training history?

Edit- The standard around here is that you should at least wait till your 25

I was training for 2 years, mainly to get lean, but got my weight up to 88kg a year ago with BF of 11%. Play rugby at a social level and broke my arm which kept me out of training for 6 months until February this year, hence I want to build myself up again to play again. Training 4x per week currently using a split programme.

Current stats- (Post Injury)
Deadlift- 180kg
Squat- 200kg
Bench- 85kg

I am 25 in September and am only starting now in order to put mass on before the season starts, though I agree it is best to wait as long as possible.

That's a pretty weak bench. Pretty good deadlift and squats though ! I weigh 187 at 12% bf and bench right around 115-120kg
 
Yeah it is, though that is post recovery after being in a cast for 6 months and having alot of muscle wastage. In rehab stage until I get my strength balanced again.

Any thoughts on how effective this cycle should be? Anything that should be changed?

yeah I'd run long ester.. since its your first cycle you won't have to pin more often... honestly I would get leaner before starting the cycle.. get to 12%.. best is around 8% but it can take some time to get there. Arimidex : start with that dosage but EOD. If you really want to go with prop then I'd just do 500mg prop/week... that would be 142mg prop per inject
 
Thanks for the advice SamSport. Yeah I was thinking of doing 150mg EOD, works out at 550mg per week when averaged over 2 weeks. Want to use prop as will be starting pre season cardio from August, so an 8 week cycle is perfect to build size, then build fitness up in August while finishing PCT. Pinning should be ok, I have used Melanotan before and it didn't phase me, albeit that was using an Insulin needle!

550mg per week is going to be a good first cycle. how did you like melatonan? looking to try this soon.. 25g is bigger than insulin for sure, but you should be fine... my first pin took 26mins. 1min to complete the pin and 25 mins to stare at my butt with random thoughts :O
 
Yeah was decent the first time I used it, looked Spanish or something. 2nd vial a few months later had limited effect and led me to getting alopecia of the beard somehow! 3 large hairless gaps in the beard for a year wasn't ideal though all good now.

Do you think 25gx1" will be long enough for glute injection? I was thinking of just hitting the thighs and delts, though I have read mixed reviews on pain when injecting prop into the thigh!

lol thats weird side effect
depends how much fat you got on that ass; delts is a good spot.. quads hurt a lot the first couple times.. especially with test prop, if you can tolerate pain then go ahead.... ventro-gluteal is also a good spot to inject
 
thats a lot of clomid. maybe try 100/50/50/25. thats what i usually do. too much clomid and i get a little emotional.
 
Thanks kaysgg, wasn't sure about PCT- had seen some people just leave the Clomid out completely, though I want to get test back up to normal asap!

There is something to say about being ready for aas and being serious, having attained a certain muscle mass before you begin them, knowing how to train with intensity, eat, and rest properly, on the other hand I have seen guys really take off and become serious once they started the gear. The commitment both financially and mentally changed how they saw their commitment to working out and they never looked back.
 
Finding it difficult to get Arimedex- so will be taking 20mg nolva ED during cycle and continuing this into PCT along with Clomid. I understand Nolva can hinder gains slightly, but I want to avoid gynae as much as possible!
 
There is something to say about being ready for aas and being serious, having attained a certain muscle mass before you begin them, knowing how to train with intensity, eat, and rest properly, on the other hand I have seen guys really take off and become serious once they started the gear. The commitment both financially and mentally changed how they saw their commitment to working out and they never looked back.
I had a pretty extravagant cocaine habit 2 years ago weighing 150 lb at 6' 29yrs old. Wife (gf at time) got pregnant and i traded my party life for the gym. 9 months later i was 175 and did a cycle and blew up to 212 then went on 3jdiet and leaned down to 190-195. Yet another cycle later i was 205 att around 12% bf. Now 5 months later off cycle I'm 190 at right around 12% bf.

Gear helped me get serious. Now waiting on hcg and starting new cycle. Goal is 200lb 10% or less bf
 
And i would seriously increase carbs if you are bulking and decrease your fat intake.

Right now your at 1100cals Pro, 800 CHO, 1600 Fat which is so unnecessary. That's almost 180g of fat in a day and really you don't need much more than 40-50g to keep healthy/regulate hormones especially at your weight

Cool thing Cheph. I'm a recovering drug addict. Was a junkie and coke freak. Main lining for years. Took many years of my life and my inheritance big $$$$$, my gym, and much more. Got clean and back to the gym. Now on SSD I live for the gym basically.
