2 weeks in short ester cycle, dosage too low?

Hey guys,

I'm finishing week 2 of an 8 week test prop/mast prop 100mg/eod cycle. I've also been taking tbol at 40mg/day. Now I know I shouldn't expect to be superman after 2 weeks, but the only things I've noticed by now are higher libido, slightly raised aggression and my blood pressure is higher than it was before.

I doubt the gear is bunk because I have experienced the few the sides I listed above, but other than that I've yet to see a stronger pump or vascularity. No strenght gains either. Gained MAYBE 1 lbs now. I doubt the gear is bunk because of the few sides I listed above. My workouts are heavy, I sleep enough and my diet is on track.

In my last cycle (3years ago) I went up to 750mg test e/week, maybe that's got something to do with it?

Keep in mind that this is a cutting cycle, so I'm not looking to add 20lbs or something. I"'ve got some eca lying around to use in awhile aswell

your doses are good , u just need to be patient . those sides are common for only 2 weeks in , for strength gains etc , id be patient till around week 3-4 even with prop . weight gains willl come with how much u are eating . if u are not eating enough or only maintenence cals , u will stay the same weigh or even lose weight . u need to eat to grow . u may put a bit of water weight on but dont confuse it with muscle , and prop usualy comes with less water weight .
 
IMO you should be noticing some strength gains by now...you should be getting better pumps too..but then again that's just been MY experience with prop..everyone is different. I'm not saying it should be in full effect, but you should be noticing a difference..I guess it may take 3 or more weeks for your body respond enough to the increase in test for you to start noticing these things, but then again if you're feeling libido and aggression then you should be feeling the test in the gym, too..How many calories are you getting?

+-3500cals. I'm still in a surplus right now. Didn't want to go too high in cals since I'm wanted this cycle to lean me out some. A bit of lean gains and a drop in bf% is what I'm aiming for here. I was thinking maybe the libido and agression came from the mast prop? Do testosteron and masteron use the same receptors?
 
Yes, test and mast both bind to the androgen receptors, but work differentely and actually have a very good synergistic effect, so a great choice for your goals. And yes mast will increase libido and agression, but it's probably from both compounds. It sounds like you're prob right around your required maintenance amount of cals depending on how hard you hit the gym and if you do cardio..Your cals will have an impact on weight and strength gains..However, even at maintenance, after 2 weeks on test prop and tbol you should be stronger. Masteron tends to have a more gradual effect on strength and body compositon...very little weight gain from it. I'm honestly not sure why you haven't noticed at least SOME strength gains..I was thinking caloric deficit. I guess try giving it a little more time?..You may also want to raise the test to 150 eod to bring it up to 600mg/wk..Keep us posted on progress!

I'll give it another week and if there's no progress I'll up the dosage to 150 eod. I'll add some extra calories aswell (not too much) and see from there. I'll keep this updated

Hey bro have you seen any improvement?

By sunday I'll have finished my 4th week on cycle and things have gotten better. Gained some weight, got a bit stronger, a bit more vascular and harder aswell and people are starting to ask me what I'm using. I'm not seeing a hell of a lot of change in the mirror yet, but that could just be my own fucked up perception of it all :D
Anyway, I'm working my legs twice a week, and either my pants are shrinking or the legs are growing :D So I suppose there's the proof I wanted. The stuff is working.

I've been thinking about whether or not I should up the dosage of both compounds to 150mg eod, but I'll keep the cycle as it is, 4 more weeks at the same dosage and wait until my next cycle to go to 150mg eod. Maybe I'll even go for the prop/mast/tren combo next time. I hear that's a very good cycle?

Btw do I start my ec stack as soon as I quit using the oral turinabol or do I wait until during or after my PCT?
