I want to take a second and thank all of the active and veteran military out there... Its because of your suffering and sacrifice I get to breath the free air of this nation..

I have lost a friend to a war that didn't need to be fought.. Scum politicians making poor decision that have a profound affect on families across the nation.. I dont support those politicians, but I always support our soldiers..

To the fallen here is my moment of silence honoring you

To the rest here is my thanks.. You've risked life and limb for us.

3Js Nutrition Network has always given 15 percent off all ems, law enforcement, active military, and veterans.

Today I am taking that offer up to 30 percent for anyone mentioned above till the end of the day..

These are the pillars of our society.. The keepers of peace.. The server's of our community.. They should be honored and respected

Solid post, and good offer 3J

I know there are many other vets on the board, and if they aren't already 'on board' with a sports nutritionist this is a pretty great opportunity...

Great Post and a sincere Thank You to those who serve and have served.
All gave some and some gave all, they all have my respect and gratitude for this.
Happy Veterans Day!

I did eight years in the Silent Service, and I take my hat off to all those who served in whatever capacity they did.

I just got together with some old veteran buddies this weekend. You will never meet anyone you are closer to than those you served with. I know men who lost their lives in combat and I know some that are war heroes, but don't feel like they are.

I looked up a guy last night that I served with 17yrs ago. I found a profile online that looked like it was his and paid for it. This morning I called the number and got a hold of his mom. I told her who I was looking for and I asked if she could help me find him. She burst into tears and said that he passed away last year due to a heart condition. I cried with her and offered my condolences. I was too late, I waited too long to try and reach a friend. Life is too short. My buddy was 39 yrs old, much too young to die of heart failure.

If you are a vet take the time to look up old buddies. You will be happy you did. Don't wait, there is no time like the present. We never know what a new day will bring. I will be trying to get all of my old buds together this memorial day weekend. It has to happen, it's not an option.

Semper Fi to all and thank you for serving our country!
