a few random questions...

ive got a few questions that have come up through my readings here...

1. With Cardio, is it better to do it pre, or post lifting? And what is the best kind of cardio to do if i want to lose fat, but not lose muscle?

2. There is more than one kind of deadlift, romanian, straight leg, and regular... what is a 'rack' deadlift, and a romanian?
im assuming and a straight leg dead lift is just where you keep your legs straight and pick up the weight, but its just a guess :)

thanks for any advice you guys are always more than helpful and i, as im sure many others do, appreciate it very much :)

i like cardio on off days to burn fat and keep muscle. low impact 45 minutes or so.

rack pulls are setting the pins up about knee heighth in the power rack and pulling from there. straight legs are what they are. bends knees slightly. romanians are similar in the starting position to a stiff leg but you straighten your legs and upper body stays bent over for the entire movement.

good luck wiff dose teefe lolololololol

Cardio is to be done post workout, when your depleted and able to burn fat.

not true on that one lil bro. the worst time to do cardio is after you work out if you are trying to maintain muscle. burning fat is more nutrtion than cardio anyway. anybody can loose BF without even exercising.

depends what your going for... if loosing fat is more important to you then run first...

if gaining mass is more important than do it after or on off days...

if you do it first your going to be tired for your workout... if you do it after you run the risk of your body burning muscle for energy.

personally i lift first, cardio second...

that is what i always thought too... :p my workout parter is always doing cardio before... like i get to the gym and i see him running. i always tell him that he needs to do cardio afterwards, so that he is depleted and his body takes its energy from fat stores, not his carb stores and so he has energy to lift those heaby weights with :). but does he listen? NOPE! hes not a very good lifting partner... (he just started working out like the first time in his life in january) so im doin my best to teach him tho :)

if you are trying to avoid a catatonic state then thats all you need bro. dont run. 3.0-3.5 walking on the tread mill.

if anyone posts differnt than this i suggest that poster hit the books and do some research.
