A Hobbit's Tale: Kravi's First Test E Cycle

Hi everyone, how are all of you doing? No, I'm great thanks for asking. :) This thread you stumbled upon will be my ever-as-consistent-as-can-be log of my very first true AAS cycle. I have finally taken the step to start this up, and my cycle will be broken down as this:

Wk 01-12: Test E 500mg/wk (Wed & Sat)
Wk 02-12: Letrozole 0.625mg E3D
Wk 13-14: Rest
Wk 15-19: PCT (Nolva 40/40/20/20 + Torem 60/60/60/60)

So, there you have it, my cycle. Pretty basic and that's the way it should be for a rookie. I went with Letro because well, I ordered it by mistake, but I will deal with that. I know Letro is very difficult to dose, so I'm starting at the lowest possible end of the spectrum (based on user experience) and working from there. I am also going the Torem route because I hear it's a little better than Clomid for recovery, but we'll see that too. I have all on hand though, and I can extend my PCT as far as I need to if things don't look good in the end.

What am I looking from this cycle? Well, if diet goes well and training too, I can realistically see myself putting on 15lb. in a short 12 week span. Maybe more if I'm blessed with better result from all the gear and food. Hopefully, after PCT I can keep around 8-10lb. minimum.

BF: 15%
Arm: 15"
Chest: 38"
Quad: 21"
Bench: 165lb.
Squat: 235lb.
Dead: 315lb.

I just did my second pin of E in my left quad tonight and oddly enough, it hurts a bit more than my first pin in the right quad. I did this injection better than the first, yet it's some badass PIP or virgin muscle soreness going on. Nothing I can lose sleep over, but kind of interesting to me to see why this pin hurts a bit more than the other. Other than that news, there isn't much to report on yet. My days in the gym are the same so far as the T hasn't kicked in yet, but I can't wait til it does! I'm ready to turbocharge those gains in the gym.

I'm taking Letro on pinning days at 0.625mg for now and will keep a close eye on any issues that may happen. I've never been gyno prone, but who would really want to take a chance finding out if they are or not?

I almost forgot about the diet of my cycle. Thank you for bringing that up. :) After measuring my BMR, my Maintenance is ~2600 calories. I've been in a caloric surplus of anywhere from 500-1,500 calories over for the last two months, so basically I've been "bulking" this entire time. For this cycle, I'm going to take myself down a notch and return to maintenance for a week or two just to give my body a little rest from eating, as I'm getting pretty fat now. My diet right now is broken down as:

5 Whole Eggs/1 cup Oats
4oz. Tilapia/2 cups Brown Rice/Veggies
16oz. Chicken Breast/2 cups Brown Rice/Veggies
8oz. Steak/Veggies
64g Whey Shake

This totals to 2,700 Kcal/220g Carb/87g Fat/270g Protein. Ever since I've been messing with food, I've always strived for high protein/high fat diets because I feel like my body really likes the high amounts of proteins and fats that I eat. It's very common for me to be intaking 300g+ of protein and 100g+ of fats during my bulking phases, I just eat steak and chicken like it's my last meal. Carbs have, eh, never been my thing. I've had moments where I've gone as high as 500g of Carbs a day and to me, I only see more water retention inside.

If you see ways I could change up my eating habits, let me know. I am open to opinions on what to lower/increase for the best gains.

LOL! That is hilarious! (Sorry you didn't get the part though!) If you really want to explode, talk to 3J about diet. I am now on week two of his diet plan, and LOVING it! :D

I think I might talk to him. I've read his posts in the diet subforum and modeled my diets by his guidelines with what I respond to, in terms of certain foods.

Sorry to say bro, but your probably higher BF % then 15. I'm 5'4 weighing 134, at 12% with more muscle mass. So your 11 lbs heavier then me, which is no 3 %, I'd say 17-19%. Not meaning to sound rude, just staying that could play a hindrance on side-effects. If you stick to that clean diet it will defiantly make wonders. Starting my cycle next Monday, my calorie intake for mine will be starting at 3k, but may bump a tad. Good to see your protein is high, mines roughly the same. Same with fat, but you gotta up them carbs bro. Try and get around 300.

I suspected I was higher. I've done my 4th pin now and not really having any side effects yet, but it might be too early to tell. I've tried eating higher carbs, but I don't know, I've never really felt any fuller or bigger on them. I feel like with higher fats, I feel more positive with my food. I will play around with higher carbs though, see if it makes a difference on cycle.

By the way, glad to see another person who's near my height. It's pretty rare where I live, even the girls are taller than me. :\

I myself love the fatty foods, and by fatty i mean the clean fatty foods of steak/beef/pork/turkey. If you want you can always try carb cycling, where you only have to do high carb days twice a week.

Haha yeah, I just competed in a NPC comp a few weeks ago in Bantam weight class. First time ever I've seen bro's around my size, was weird lol. Also defiantly following this log get it broski.
 
I thought carb cycling was for weight loss? I don't think I've seen it used in bulking often. I'll try it and see though. Gonna try eating shit ton bread and rice. :D
 
I've seen some people do low carb days on off days, and high carb days on workout days.

This is interesting to me. I will definitely look into this type for my bulk. I'm trying to just gain the most quality weight because I want to compete next April (12 months away). Want to compete hopefully in the Bantamweight or lightweight class.
 
im surprising your mait is so high, I cant seem to find mine properly. Mine seems to always be up and down. I;ll eat somewhere and lose just a tad of weight, then ill start gaining weight on same calories. Least you know your maintenance haha. Also just a tad note, you may want to edit pic to not show face

Your arms really don't look 15", not trying to bash ya. When I started my Test E cycle (10 weeks ago) My arms were 15". What are you measuring with btw? I'm only 5'7" so Im not that much taller than you, but judging by your height and size of your arm in your pics, I don't think there 15".

Imo there is a pretty big difference between being 5'7" and 5'3" how the two hold there weight/size.

I use one of those body measuring tapes to do my measurements. Yeah, it looks small, but it's 15" on the mark. Photo quality is crappy and this was a rest day so no pump or anything.
 
Kravi yours is probably 15, mines 13 1/2 but thats when im depleted. And your biceps look a tad bigger. Also yeah size difference if you look online about weight compared to height. Each inch is like 7 lbs. For instance (just random numbers since I dont have the site on me 24/7) a guy thats 5'7 should have 7 lbs of LBM more then someone an inch less. Meaning the guy that is 5'6 should have 7 less LBM then the dude thats 5'7. It's so on and son on by each height difference. Now that may be a load of bro science but who knows.

I'm coming up into the start of the third week of my cycle. Nothing to report as of yet except that my weight has kind of gone up by 2-3 pounds. More than likely just water weight as I've been hella thirsty lately. I'll be updating this log at the start of the fourth week consistently with workouts, weights, diet, etc. So for now, just stay tuned.

In regards to the PIP and pinning in general, I have gotten used to it. I feel slight PIP for about 10 minutes then it goes away. The only problem I've been having is my left leg seems to get some badass PIP going, but I suspect it's due to the fact I pin that quad the same day after my leg workout so I'm too "tense". Other than that, it's fun for me and I love pinning. Needles are my only friends. :(
