A quick thought on HRT and drug companies

I was just thinking about the emergence of what seems like alot of men going on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Its not a bad thing for us because it definitly improves quality of life while on it. which to me is more important that longevity. But could this also be an emergence of a new era for drug companies? If they could get more of the aging male population to start HRT this would mean huge profits for them. they only have one problem steroids and test and anything like that have a very bad name. could this help disapate some of the bad press that steroids get. People have no clue what steroids really are. for example I was trying to explain to my girlfreind about HRT and she could not even comprehend the connection b/w test and sex drive let alon that the Higher your test levels the more muscle you can put on. sorry that is a little off topic.

All I am saying is maybe we will see a renewed interest from drug companies in the development of these sorts of products.

I am hoping we see a shift in paradigm thought not only on the way we think about Steroids and the widely misunderstood use of them but also a new approach to the way we deal with aging. I know when I am old I want to still be able to enjoy life and be able to do things.

I also have thought that if steroids did not have such a bad name they might not be a popular as they are.

I hope there is a shift in the thinking of the general public about these drugs. It is really too bad there is still a lot negative connitation associated with using them when they could be of such help to so many people.
I don't think the drug companies stand to make much off injectible test because it is pretty cheap to make, but when they come up with new delivery systems via gels, lozenges, etc, they are really expensive and I'm sure they are making a ton of dough off them.

I don't think my wife really gets it either that I want to be on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). She's seen my test results showing my T at the bottom of the scale and complains when I am off cycle about my sex drive, yet she was never happy with me being on roids. She can't complain about DR prescribed HRT though!!!

I hope the turn happens, but steroids do have a bad name do to media hype. There is a resaech lab here where I live, they have hormone therapy as one of their on going studies. So I called thme to see if I could get involved. When I asked the women on the phone, if they did HRT for men, you would of thought I asked about heroin or cocaine. I explained to her I have low test/hgh/igf-1 levels, if there were any studies done on this. Her reply was the drug companies don't do studies on men for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), only women.

I hope things change

what a retard that biatch was.

I was at new doc yesterday and he was really cool, he had good understanding of test and HRT and he asked if he could use me in a study he was helping out with that pharmacial was doing on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). I'm not exactly sure what it will entail but I'm going to see him in a couple weeks. and I will post on it. He was also going to help me fix my gyno problem! I very happy that I'm finally making a move remove my titties. He is going to hook me up with a plastic surgeon once we do some more tests on my endocrine system.
