Hey Guys.......2 questions!!!!



so I stopped by CVS today....and asked about getting some larger needles (18G)....they only had 21G...and would only give me one.....

so my question is.....If I am using this this needle JUST to pull Cyp out of the vial.....Can it be reused.....IE put 21G needle on.....pull my shot out of vial.....change to my NEW 25G needle and give myself shot.....then re-use the 21G needle next time to draw Cyp out of vial for shot???


bad idea?....or would that be OK?


ALSO....do you guys have a needle Bucket( hazard mat ) red (Sharp needles) type bucket????

Only one needle? Re-using needles is dangerous in general. And it's uncomfortable. Each time you inject, it gets more dull. When I was young and stupid, I'd go through about ten injections on a single needle. It hurt like crazy at the end (it was hard to get needles back then). Just get some needles from Amazon. I bought a box of a hundred of them a couple weeks back. Cost me $16, including shipping.

You can also get a sharps container from Amazon, but I find that a protein powder tub works fine. Not sure I'd want to have a legit sharps container in my trash if someone was looking. I'm paranoid like that.

Please re read.....I am not reusing the 25G needle to give my shot!!!!.....reusing the 21G to draw out of the bottle....(Because it is SO SLOW with 25G needle).

I don't take any chances when it comes to the needles - one to draw, switch tips, inject and discard both. I also use empty protein powder containers for the used needles and they work great!

Needles are so cheap. Why risk letting them become unsterile?
