Haven't been on a cycle in over a few years, just on hrt low dosage.. , started accutane about 6 months ago.. the lady told me you could view blood test's online so i thought what the hell, i don't understand a lot of what these are though, usually my doctor just writes a new prescription but i don't have him for another 2 weeks

first the high values have nothing to do with my liver i don't think? it shows normal range and what mine are etc, cant copy and paste so i'l link it..

and further down the only other thing tested for is triglycerides and it says, does anyone know what's up with the high values? and if it'll affect me? i don't think my doctor seems to care much , he keeps writing prescritpions.

Triglyceride
1.66
TARGET <1.71

welcome to the boards, what made you get on accutane? what was your previous cycle like? cycle history? how was your pct after your last cycle? any blood works from before/during/after your last cycle?

I had relatively bad acne during my teenage years that never fully went away, i've only ever done two cycles, about 4-5 years ago, one was just testosterone and one was test+deca (second)/ pct was nolva/clomid

didn't really do any blood tests, i did before but i have no clue the readings tbh, didn't know you could sign up for online results..

just worried, did research about ALT and mine is quite high compared to the norm..

Hmmmm

I honestly would only be checking the liver values when on accutane. They should not be elevated by much if your dosage is below 40mg ED. If it's above 40, it's not needed tbh. I don't think taking 60-100mg is worth doing. The sides increase dramatically with little benefit to you. Accutane is a drug that needs to be ran for months, 6-7 months is prime loading phase for it. If you ran it in the past for that amount of time, your body will react much much faster, within weeks.

To keep your liver in check: NAC (1.2-2.4g), Liv52
These are cheap and work well. It's really all you need for accutane. There is more supports for the liver, but I wouldn't waste money on it unless ur doing oral AAS.

As for the Cholesterol. I'm not sure if accutane is doing it or not, I've never heard of it. I do know though that taking in lots of fiber and fish oil will do you some good. Basiclly eat a few servings of whole grain pasta/bread/rice and take about 3-6g fish oils each day. Should fix it up.

Accutane was once known as a chemo drug. Most drugs in this class lower cell count by a lot. I've had my WBC decreased, platelets decreased and even my RBC grow up slowly even though I'm on AAS that stimulate it much faster. So there must be some other reason why it's elevated. I don't think it correlates to accutane.

Personally, I would not be worried with those test results. I always suggest accutane protocol of 40mg MAX for 6-8 months, then u should be clear and then run it for 3 months more on same dosage and you should be set for life on acne UNLESS u begin to mess with ur hormones again, then it's a AUX in your cycle. Keeping ur hormones on a stable line and keeing e2 in check is key to acne being cured without accutane. Unfortunatly, it's very hard to do unless you know your UGL is accurate dosage and know your body well enough with blood tests to put hormones at certain levels.
