I went in for my bi-annual blood work last week and just got a call from my doctor. I had some results that concern him and to be honest some of them concern me as well.

My script is for 200 mg's a week and I am allowed to self inject, I get a new vile every month from the pharmacy so I have been injecting 250 mg's a week for the past 6 months. My total T was right at a 1000 and my doctor was fine with that but he was concerned because my free T was at 23.3, the top of the range is 23 so it isn't all that high. 6 months ago my free T was at 20 so I am nor really all that concerned with that. I had noticed that past blood tested did not include my E2 so I told my doctor that I wanted that tested as well because I felt it was too high. The results came back and my E2 is at 79.5 so I was correct. What has the doctor the most concerned and me as well is that my PSA reading is 4.0 (0.0-4.0 ng/mL) and 6 months ago it was at .6. The doctor wants me to reduce my injection from 200 mg's a week to 150 mg's a week for a month and come back in for another blood panel.

Here is where I screwed up and I have since gotten it resolved last week. I switched over to using my insurance's mail order for my prescriptions and they messed up and only sent me half my prescription for my AI for the past six months and I have been using an over the counter AI. I am pretty sure that is why my E2 is so elevated. My question is this, is my high E2 causing my PSA to be elevated? I am really concerned about this since it has gone up so much in only a 6 month period of time.

Thanks for your help!

i dont think its the high e2..

do you have any cialis?? taking 3mg a day should fix your psa issue

Another thing to try is DIM. 300mg a day till symptoms go away. Then u can stop or take a maintenance dose.

I actually already have it on my shopping list for when I get off work today, I know it isn't as strong or as fast as the prescription stuff but should help.

3J is 3 mg's a day enough, I have been researching this and I am seeing a lot of suggestions for 10-15 mg's a day?

Update: I ordered some liquid cialis from a well know source and it should arrive today. I looked through my medicine cabinet and found a old bottle that I had from a couple years ago that still had a little left in it. I have been taking a small dose for the past 4-5 days and there seems to be a noticed difference. It is hard to explain but during certain activities I have been experiencing a certain uncomfortable feeling as it relates to my prostate and I have noticed that I do not experience that feeling during said activities since starting. I am not positive but I think the small dosage everyday is helping. I am still a little confused on the proper dosage though. I am hopeful that when I receive my delivery today there will be some instructions to help clear up my confusion.

I also went to my local vitamin store, I love that place, that has a very knowledgeable staff. I spoke with the store manager who I have gotten to know who is also on TRT and explained to him my situation. I told him that I was interested in buying some DIM to help flush the excess E2 out of my system. He suggested that I take a specific blend of DIM that also has other stuff in it. The price was for this specific DIM was pretty high, almost 3 times that of all the other brands they had. He assured me that it was the right choice and even offered me a money back guarantee if I didn't notice a huge difference within a couple of days. He sure the hell was right, I can not even begin to tell you what a huge difference there is after only taking this supplement for just a few days. I go back to my doctor in three weeks for a follow blood panel and am excited to see the difference in my E2 levels.

I will keep everyone updated once I know more, thanks Again everyone!

The correct bph dosage of cialis is 5mg every day. I take 3mg every other day because I get side effects on 5mg daily and cialis has a longish half life. Your cia won't come with any instructions. Now you got me curious about the dim. I use nature's way.

OTC = garbage when it comes to hormone control. I'd order adex from rui and call it good. PSA can easily be elevated by high estradiol, and I suspect once you get it back down, you'll notice the PSA following suit.

Free test will ALWAYS (with few exceptions) be at the top of the scale or above as exogenous androgens and AI use decrease SHBG. This is nothing to worry about.

I would get on that E2 though. ;)

My .02c :)

Edit: To clarify, DIM is a disposal agent that will help you rid your body of free estradiol that is slated for removal. It won't lower the amount you aromatize one iota.
