First pin was monday(glute)... I thought (rui) syringes came ready to go... So I swabbed with alcohol.. Stuck the needle in, and tried to draw...nothing happened.
Realized I have to screw the needle down a bit, did that and 2nd time still nothing. Wrenched the shit out of it and the 3rd time and it finally drew. Then stuck the 23g
1.5" in my glute..asperated and everything went great. Wednesday-Today my ass hurt soooo bad, It felt like I was kicked by a horse. I construct swimming pools and it was a brutal week none-the-less.. So with that said and I know now 3x is overkill, Would changing pins between draw/pin prevent this god awfull soreness?

I always use a fresh needle for my shot... I pull gear from vial/s with one needle, then switch for my shot. U dont HAVE to, but those rubber stoppers fukin rape our needles

I'm with Trust. I always switch needles. Just a personal preference. The rubber from the vials can dull your pin, especially after 3 times. Then again, it could just be the gear that's making your ass hurt

It's pinnacle gear..so I doubt that's the issue. I thought it might be dulling......Only reason is that I bought 25 syringes with needles. So that means I lose one syringe with evey needle which in turn mean I have to order more needles, no biggy. thanks guys

I always draw on one pin and inject on another. You want to reduce the stress to the tissues and punching a hole in your backside with a blunt needle is not likely to make you feel good.

Cut a lemon in half and rub it over the area, now that sure the science behind it, but it works, picked it to up in Argentina a couple of years back, they had some short term the would always lump up and feel the same. Also ibuprofen wHelps

i doubt that was the reason since if it was dull he would have felt the pain as it went in, wouldn't he? because it wouldn't be sharp enough to get in smoothly but, that's not where he felt the pain.

also i always use the same pin to draw and inject, been doing it for months not had any issues whatsoever, the thing is that i mostly use slin pins but, on few occasions i've done glute injections with a 25g 1" and drew and injected with same needle, no problem.

do you massage the area? after the shot if i don't massage the area i get sore really bad like 2 or 3 days later, that's the only thing i can think of.

Well 3 times yeah. I use the same needle for drawing and stabbing, never have a problem. But if you have to go through the rubber stopper more than once, change the needle.
