Alcohol & Anabolic Steroids... Is this Real Life?

You're 100% right man. I RARELY ever drink. I've slowed down a ton since I turned 22 (Honestly I partied, etc before 21, like most of us) because it lost it's "taboo" feel. Anyways, my girlfriend doesn't exactly train, or diet in a serious fashion. She's an attractive, smart girl that's rather...average. She goes out and drinks with the crew relatively often. I'm usually with them but I almost never drink. However, the longest I went alcohol free constantly being around it was 6 months. It's like every few months I cave in and have a dry red wine or two. BUT, last night? I've been so stressed lately w/ college & work that I decided to have like 5 beers and I literally got so wasted. All my muscles FEEL dehydrated it sucks. I'm not exactly cycling just yet but I wanted confirmation about the "limit" (if any at all) of alcohol while cycling.
 
Yea I enjoy drinking but I'm on cycle to maximize gains right now. I'm not saying I'm perfect I do have my drink here and there but I won't aim to get hammered. I will have one maybe two just to relax after a crappy day. Just remember you get out what you put in.
 
Ah ok...I'm glad we can be a little human sometimes. I'd like to completely rid alcohol from my life but the issue is it's like ingrained in society lol. People know it to be the only way to chill or get together. I was worried when a friend of mine told me he was cycling, went out to the club with his girl, had a few and the next morning was pissing blood! Dafuq?? Of course he was on an all pill cycle & from what I've read that's a silly choice
 
I used to drink a lot .. It really affected me negatively.. Work outs were less intense the day after and for sure it gets into ur diet plan .. Looks like our bodies are designed to burn calories from alcohol as a first target..

Now my drinking is so limited to once or twice every month or two .. And I don't get hammered

On cycle .. Be extra careful specially with Orals on board , drinking will cause more stress on ur liver and that's the last thing u wanna do.
 
I always make my best progress when I cut out the booze completely but at the same time I realize life happens. Just keep it in moderation when you do, try to sneak in some water between drinks if you can and start slamming as much water as you can the following day as damage control.

NAC and UDCA will help minimize liver stress as well, use it if you can
 
The full definition of both is a bit lengthy for a full decription here and are best obtained through some easy research but in a nutshell UDCA is a compound that aids in liver regeneration and protection. NAC is a powerful anti-oxidant that also has these effects along with many other positive benefits as well. Milk thistle is pretty much next to useless.
 
NAC is a supplement like milk thistle but they use it in hospitals for people that take to much Tylenol. I never had any luck getting my liver enzymes to come down with milk thistle but NAC seemed to work. Not drinking like an idiot helped as well.

I see ppl saying that vodka , tequila is less damaging compared to wine , beer , and whiskey..

Is it true 3j?

I'm not asking cuz I want to drink , but I saw u ok with one wine glass every now and then ..
 
Vodka will give you less of a hang over than a darker liquor. Drinking while on cycle in my opinion is ok once in a while as long as its not binge drinking. But one problem is if you do happen to get your liver enzymes to high from drinking and happen to run into a problem while on cycle like acne your liver enzymes will be to high to get prescribed the medication you need. I would stay away from any heavy drinking and if you happen to be prone to drinking heavily it's better to avoid liquor while on cycle all together. Being really big and drunk tends to attract a lot of really negative attention and regular people who go to bars feel intimidated by bigger guys and will usually try to start shit with them. That is kind of off topic but it's true.
 
I'm a 3J client, And my boy is awesome at what he does, BUT IMO if you are not being paid to be on stage by sponsors and it's not how you make your living, then fuck it drink if you want. Yes it's detrimental to your progress I get all that, BUT when you are on your last breath on this earth, I promise you want bs thinking "damn I wish I didn't drink on Friday so I could be cut more".... I arrest thugs all day, so yes I need my tequila every once in a while, it's a tradition with my boys.

Not when you are on your last breath on earth , but when u get naked getting ready to sun tan next Friday with love handles surrounding u like a wheel :laugh4:
 
I find alcohol to be pretty bad for muscle, even on cycle, but a few drinks won't kill you if your heading out with friends or whatever. Essentially your saying, I want to be a buzzkill and not have a little fun in life and have a few beers to save a tiny bit of muscle.

In saying that, whenever I do go out for a few drinks I have 1-3 beers (but if it's a big occasion I indulge in some stims which I find less damaging as alcohol muscle wise as long as you still eat etc), with a water in between each and make sure I eat before and go out and eat after.

You gotta live a little dude, have a beer or two if your out with others, don't be that guy.
