All the knowledge seems to be in here

Probably a training question but the knowledge is all in here seems to me.
here's my question. I have twenty five years at this game but the first time I've been in this situation. Just finished a Highland games strength event, of course I'm on the gear, running t4, D-Bol, and small amount of prop in between t4 shots, always found that effective. been on cycle for longer than I care to mention and was running teste as a base and anadrol for 4 weeks leading up to the comp.
These events are obviously heavy, so require heavy low rep training prior to. I'm currently 6' 260 bf probably around 13 or 14%. still have upper abs so in decent shape but far too heavy to be comfortable.usually walk around about 230. Obviously shoulders, elbows, knees all the usuals are sore right to the joints. happens before all these events. like fighters, everyone fights hurt somewhere.
My question is, if I continue to cycle, change up my compounds to maybe some var and primo, and continue to lift relatively heavy but not to the extent I did up to the event, do you think I will lose a lot of muscle mass, or better yet, if I continue the test enanthate and D-Bol but am not lifting as heavy will I lose much muscle mass if the same diet is followed?

Basically, if same cycle and diet is continued, but weights lowered somewhat, will the size loss be significant?
sorry for the long winded somewhat ambiguous question. thanks.

Interesting approach at a competition. Never seen anything like this. I have a lot of questions but we'll stick to your topic...

At 260 lbs, you're obviously carrying a whole lot more than your natural body can handle. I'm not sure what your current dosing is but it would have to be considerably high to maintain what you have. Primo and var can certainly help you retain what you have, but you're looking at 3 times the standard dosing. I certainly would not go that route and instead, maintain it with Testosterone, while introducing other compounds on and off.

As for training, if you lose the low reps, you will lose muscle. No question about that. With that much lean mass, you'd basically be lifting in a cardio matter. If you don't damage the muscle severely, it won't grow or maintain.

Consider including a small dose of deca weekly to give yourself some relief and run it year round.
