Alternative to PWO Shake

I just got over a nasty stomach infection and my doc wants me to cool it with the protein shakes for a bit. I have had the suspicion for a while that my gut is allergic to whey and after dealing with what I've dealt with for the past week, I'm in no mood to irritate my gut again.

So what I want to know...what would be a good substitute for 50g whey 50g dextrose and 50g maltodextrin?

I was thinking of just eating some chicken and mixin up some kool-aid to throw the dextrose in, but what about the maltodextrin? Should I just use another slower carb like beans. Or maybe since maltodextrin is corn starch, maybe just corn?

This sucks but for now it's what I need to do. Help a brutha' out
