Always run out prescription early...

The vial is 1 cc every 2 weeks. He didn't write me a new script for the 1.5cc/2weeks so I assume he just wanted me to finish the current one.

Sounds like you are fucked. Next time make sure the vial has the correct dosing instructions on it when you pick it up.

Have any friends that can share some test with you until you get a refill or figure out how to source more?

Well, he sort of changed the 1cc to 1.5cc during my 1cc prescription. Like 3 weeks in. Is he still required to write me a new script? I don't know how all of this works.

Technically he gave you a new prescription by word of mouth, but I have a feeling it's going to be one of those, "I don't recall telling you that!"

RUN, don't walk from this place man. Your doc was in jail and you have a PA overseeing patients that he technically shouldn't be. So many red flags, it's not even funny.

I wish I can, but I can't. It's a membership based clinic, I pay like $50 a month for membership and I pay $25/visit. Labs are like $11 a piece. I don't have insurance (denied due to testosterone therapy). So this seems like the best I have now until ObamaCare comes out.

You are only a few months away. Hang in there!

Ughhhhhhhhhhh. That's why they treat you they way they do; they know you don't want to go elsewhere. Have you talked to the board sponsor Increase My T? I don't know how much their plans are, but I'd DEFINITELY look into their service as I'd honestly lose my temper with some guy telling me that he's going to slap my hand because he doesn't understand how injectables work with loss and blame me instead.

My .02c :)

Oh wow, really good point man... Really makes me think now. Why would they do things like this though? Wouldn't you think if I liked them, they will continue to treat me well to keep me? It's really making me feel like I'm getting punished for the fact that the PA never documented the dosage increase from 1cc to 1.5cc before he left for vacation... And now I'm stuck with his supervising MD, who is a huge prick. I wish I can complain to the Medical Board. I looked at his license, it is "Revoked/Stayed," meaning it was revoked but now re-instated with certain restrictions... I wonder what those restrictions can be.

Best of luck to you, I hope you either get this straightened out or find a new doctor. If you are expecting Obamacare to cover this you may be sadly disappointed!

I'm not expecting ObamaCare to cover the $60 Testosterone, but I hope they can cover me seeing another doctor. I'm totally cool with paying out of pocket for the $60.

Just to chime in here bud, due to my insurnace I'm only allowed a monthly supply of testosterone at a time, which in my case is 2ml. The first time I tried using the needles they prescribed, my last injection was only half dosage due to waste of oil during previous injections and hard time measuring exact dosages. Now If I could get 10ml's at once this wouldn't be a big deal but if every other week I'm getting shorted a bit of test this could be a problem. So what I did was switch to insulin needles. I get them from walgreens without a prescription, 29 gauge 1/2 inch needle to make sure it's getting in the delt. Not only will you not waste any oil using these, but it's so much easier to measure as they come in 1/2 and 1 cc. This will definitely help you doing your .375 measurement or whatever your dosage was, plus you don't waste a drop. Since using I always hit the exact dosage every pin, not only that but it's much painless using a baby needle and will barely leave and scar tissue long term. It's a win win win :)

In my opinion, if I was on TRT and in your situation, that being you only receive enough to last x amount of time and then you're prescribed a new vial, I would have a back up vial so that I didn't end up in this predicament. There are plenty of reputable online sources that ship domestically and could save you a big headache. What if you muck up an injection? What if you drop the vial and it breaks? Just thinking ahead. Otherwise, time for a new doctor.

Thats exactly what i have done. I have enough back up to last me a year :)

The only issue with the slim pinns is that you can't swith needles, so you will need to draw with one pinn and then transfer it to a new pinn in which some oil will be lost. I self pinn my B-12 and this is what I have experienced when doing so.

Need to? I've never done this - I draw and inject with the same slin pin all the time and if the needle is dull I can't tell.

Agree^^^. Diabetics using skin pins use the same needle to draw and pin.

Too much work imo. Have to backfill unless you want to sit there for 15 minutes drawing up that tiny amount of oil, which still would require another syringe. ;)

I don't know how anyone can claim there is zero loss from using a slin pin. Even using a bubble as a conservation technique, there will ALWAYS be some oil left in the luer/barrel/needle. It will be less, sure - but not zero loss. :p

I probably wasn't clear with that, I'm not arguing that slin pins waste no gear. I'm saying that diabetics draw and pin with the same insulin needle. Look at post #36, Spunkey was saying he draws in one slin pin then transfers it to another.
