Any Gamers?

Just curious as the new PS4 apparently is the topic of the day on some gaming boards. Made me start to wonder if we have any gamers at ology. If so are you rocking xbox, playstation, or comp? A thread was posted today asking if anyone was planning on buying the PS4 when it comes out (I think it's slated for around Christmas time). I haven't really seen any titles that turn me on, but I figured I might as well get one, as something is bound to hit around the same time. Anybody else?

I'm debating about going over to the darkside and grabbing one. That whole pay to play live thing kind of rubs me the wrong way. Not understanding why I should have to pay to play games online, but then again games like wow do it, and I gladly gave blizzard my money for years. Plus I like the title selection on xbox.
 
I want to be a gamer still, but with full time school and a family it's a bit challenging to fit it into my schedule. I still give Blizzard $15 a month even though I log in maybe 2x a month. Haven't been much of a console gamer since the PS2 came out as MMO's are typically only found on the PC platform, and that's pretty much all I play as they're relaxing.

It is a bit unnerving though being almost 40 and playing with kids that could be my children age-wise. :p
 
Ps3 and currently on Cod online if I'm not in the gym or at work or doing my stuff around the house :)
So not a lot :)
 
I have an xbox360 that collects dust mainly. I buy new games intending to play them and then I don't. I preordered GOW 3, paid $60 for the damn thing and have played like 15 minutes of it. SMH
 
Yea for a while I was doing the same thing. Until recently I guess a bug bit me, and I started really wanting to playthrough all of this games that were collecting dust. The more I play now, the more the old gamer in me is coming out. Hell I've played Far Cry 3 so much this past week, I've started having dreams about it. Had one where I was trying to assault a vehicle that was passing by.

I've got mass effect and I keep starting it and stopping it. It's a bad ass game. Gow3 is just the se as the rest of em I guess that's why it can't keep my attention. Ok this may sound kinda gay but how about Just Dance? I've got it with the kinect and it's pretty fun. Me and my girl get retarded with it
 
I used to be a to an extent but real life always screws up my plans... but when I do play it's usually CoD.

As for the PS4, I'm sure it will be sweet but the fact they are probably going to tether games to individual consoles really rubs me the wrong way. It will be a very long time, if ever before I get a PS4. That's starting to creep into Apple territory where they totally control the consumer by constricting software down to the plugs/chargers you have to use, I don't like a company trying to control my life like that.

i downloaded skyrim, beat the main story but havent playe since (about a month) i prob will again, buy the house, see what else there is to do..

as much as i like the bo/cod... the maps are TOO DAMN SMALL! drives me fucking nutz! LOVE the new zombi map die rise.
everything else i like more, the gun set up, the perks and all that, if they combined that with bt3 maps.... OMGF.....
WOW!!! i do sound like a nerd dont i? haha
 
not big on first player shooters more rpg... skyrim has a shil load of stuff in it youl never be able to do it all
im hoping they come out with a new red dead redemption love that game
 
BF3 is a badass game, especially if you have a few guys who can team up and play as a squad

I'm assuming your stoked for BF4 to come out then?
