Any TRT guys here been to Female Endo's?

I wanted to know if anyone here who is on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) has ever been to a female endo. I hear a lot of people saying to get a younger male doc...who can understand you better. Just wondering if anyone here has had positive experience/results with a female endo in dealing with their Low T?
For the ones that went to a female endo...were they more understanding/sympathetic in your situation as opposed to male endo's you probably saw?

This isn't a question that can be generalized.
There are good docs and bad docs, gender doesn't dictate that.

IME, I've actually had better luck with older male endo's.
I think probably because they're going through it themselves.

x2

Although my doc is a guy my age, he's more on the progressive side. It's hit or miss to be honest.

I am lucky, I go to a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) Clinic so they are very up to date on treatment!

I hear you...
The mainstream docs (G.P.'s) don't think so though. In their opinion Endo's are the end all and be all of Hormone Replacement.
Just read an article on line(written by a MD) criticizing a local Anti Aging Clinic...telling people not to sign up cause long term effects are not known. Messed up!

Often times there are hidden agendas behind those articles.
In my state it's illegal to get direct blood work.
This is because a lot of doctors in my state OWN the testing facilities.
They lobbied to make direct blood testing illegal so that they could send all of their patients directly to their own clinics.
They did this to prevent competition.

As far as I'm concerned GP's are just rolodex's for referrals.

TRT is a long, arduous road. Anyone who has been "on" for a while will be able to attest to that.
Doctor after doctor, treatment plan after treatment plan, it really never ends.

My endo is a female. She graduated from john hopkin's university!! (We're in Canada so that's a pretty big deal)
