Anybody eat Quest Protein bars??

I love these, and the nutrition profile is pretty great. 20g protein, 19g Fiber 6g fat and just 5-6 non-fibrous carbs. I wondered if I'm missing something. Anybody else eat these or avoid these?

I do get bars as emergency backup but they always have high fat content compared to having a shake. Thus I tend to avoid, decathlon in the EU do some pretty cheap high protein boxes for under £5.

My only question really was the quality of the 20g of protein. I need to do some more research on the different kids of protein honestly. They say they have a blend of whey protein isolate and milk protein isolate. These things help me a ton when it comes to getting protein and eating clean. And I'm certain the dramatic increase in fiber I've gotten from eating 3 of these a day as significantly enhanced my health.

As far as protein bars go they are prob your best option. That being said those that love the taste simply have different taste than I do. I have tasted several flavors, even tried a few tricks ive seen mentioned kike heating for a few seconds in microwave etc,..but I think they taste horrible. Ill stick o shakes, cheaper and I can make macros exactly what i want them to be with the healthiest of options (ie oats for carbs, ground flax for fats).

I have tried Apple Pie, Berry Bliss, Cookie Dough and Coconut Cashew (natural one).

I love quest bars. Expensive as hell, even when buying a box at a time and saving money online. I *TRY* to keep them on hand as a 'backup' for traveling, long days, etc. The problem is I end up looking at them sideways and saying "those were good last time you had one, right?" by that point I already have 2 or 3 half way into my gullet :( I can't hold onto them for 'emergencies' seemingly.

Coconut Cashew is my favourite one so far. Cookie Dough got great reviews but its overrated IMO. It's reputation and rating precedes it making it sound amazing. It's good but nothing to write home about. Apple Pie didn't care for. The Mixed Berry Bliss one I enjoyed it too. Coconut Cashew was great though.

It's also nice because it has some fat and dietary fiber. I don't mind dietary fiber carbs. I do mind protein bars with simple carbs as filler.

I like Quest bar and only tried the free ones they sent but they cost as much as container of WPI soooo yeah I don't purchase them.

They sound good as hell and an easy way to snack on something/good emergency food... might look into them. Although from what everyone is saying the price will probably be too much for me to bear xD

As a staple, yes, they're a bit pricey.
But for a treat, they're just right.
