for 2 months I had seen no improvement on my chest or hardly any growth. Doing Flat BB and incline DB flies etc. I decided hmm ill try close grip bench not for tris but for chest and wow my chest is gaining like crazy. Anyone heard of something like this?

Hmm, could have been the change in routine more than close-grip bench being crazy good for pecs.
 
What I meant was that the sudden improvement could have been a result of him changing his routine up (which could have stagnated).
 
When I CG I stay about 2-3 inches off the chest, so I never hit the chest much at all since its a tricep movement really.
 
I follow westside method. Changing everything every two to three weeks. Sometimes a change keeps you gaining.
