Aromasin or Arimidex for basic test e cycle?

little hard headed arent we

Well, the only "first cycle" sticky I found on here says to use Exemestane for the AI, my first post someone told me Aromasin, then everyone on my most recent post (after I did some research) says to use Arimadex. Just trying to get to the bottom of what to use so I don't buy and then realize I should have used something else. When it all "may" be the same, I was hoping for a convincing post to make my decision or to explain why this and not that

They will all work. Adex is very strong. You want to start very low in the dosage with it. Aromison and stane will work too. Pick one and see how you react to it.

I hope you boys dont think Stane and Aromasin are two different things, lol.

They are both geared toward the same goal, keeping Estradiol in check. Stane kills estrogen, Adex prevents it from aromatizing. I use Adex as I find it does a more efficient job for me personally and I dont have to take it every day.

Thanks. Ill look around a little more but 0.25 adex eod seems to be what most people are suggesting for 500mg test e cycle

Arimidex is just easier to provide a "cookie cutter" approach to. Aromasin is actually superior, but is often taken in too small of amounts, or not frequently enough. Aromasin is also far more expensive, which is often why adex is given in advice.

They both prevent aromatization, with the caveat being aromasin (exemestane) is a suicidal inhibitor, preventing rebound once you stop taking it and arimidex (Anastrozole) has a much faster reactive time (48hrs). Either will do the job, it's more about what fits your needs the best. If you're thinking of hitting up the aromasin, keep in mind that it should be taken ED and 12.5mg-25mg is the typical starting dose. You should get a blood test four-six weeks in to verify that you're using the correct dose as low and high estradiol side-effects are VERY similar.

My .02c :)

Great post. Thanks

I am trying out aromasin and taking it at 10mg eod while on trt. When I blast I will take it at 10mg ED and see how that goes.

I decided to give it a shot as I read that aromasin is better on your liver. Apparently adex is harsh on the liver

Adex does, I havent heard of it being hard on the liver, my enzymes are always good and I dont even take any liver support.

I've never seen personally or heard of AI's being liver toxic. Enzymes can be elevated from so many sources it's not even funny. If you're not taking NAC, it will easily lower them within a month or so. I personally have seen mine drop 20 points due to NAC.
