It is odd for me. Sometimes I aspirate and get nothing but air. But after the injection when I pull out, there is blood. Is this normal?

fyi this is concerning a subcutaneous shot

I believe it means that you went through a blood vessel on the way in. shouldnt be a big deal. but I'm not 100% sure in subc. I only do i.m.

a little blood sometimes in normal. As foamy said you could of hit a vessel or capillary. You shouldnt be overly concered unless you are unable to stop the hemorrhage. It could also depend on the gage of your pin.

I injected today, aspirated and there was no blood, but after the inj the was 3 specs of blood in the orange area right before the needle, seen it and thought oohhh shit. but all is good I feel fine.

thanks, it was a little discerning at first. But after looking at anatomy charts and hearing what you guys have to say I'm content
