Baby time - TRT PCT help - Wife not happy
Wife upset that her assumption that my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) was causing low sperm count was accurate: 8.7 mil sperm count, 73% mobility, 9% normal looking. Nurse kept referenceing it as a 'little low'. Regardless, my wife wants me back to normal asap and is freaking out.
I've been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) (Test Cyp) for 1.45 years. First 1 years on 200 ml/mg every 3 weeks, next 3 months 100ml/mg a week, then finally 200ml/mg a week in last few months. Before I stop pinning, I wanted to accomplish 2 things; 1) get a lot of good advise and 2)see my doc. My doc is great, however, I don't see him having A LOT of experience with coming off testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and want to have questions/suggestions for him.
I'm 36 years old, 193 lbs, 12% BF, and on week 6 of a killer 3j workout and carb cycling diet plan. I'm, on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for low test levels (783 as of 9/2012 while on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), 732 as of 6/2011 no trt). Low test may have been caused by un-decended testicle (operated to normal when 9 years old), two periods of 3-4 months worth of stress/anxiety medications (2007, 2010) which is when i noticed serious decreases in my performance. Never came back full strength after the second time (diff med) and went on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) shortly thereafter.
I hear hints here and there that Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) boosts the testies and gets them back to normal levels. It would be great if it could bring back my normal levels before the meds and would like to ask my doc to give it a try. I hear clomid is another option and cheaper than HCG. However, I'm interested in obtaining opions, including dosing, on both...please.
Again, the main goal is to get my sperm levels to normal asap so my wife and I can start being comfortable with eachother again.
Thanks!
