Ok so Im about 5 weeks in on a test cycle and I went to a chiropractor the other day because my lower back has been bothering me. I do construction so I knew my back wasnt in the best condition. he took xrays and told me that there was nothing to alarming but the usual when it comes to my line of work...The lowest disc in my back has degenerated a bit and also my range of motion in the neck area is a bit limited due to misalignment in my back..anyways Im going 3 times a week for stim therapy and he says he should see an improvement..I was doing legs yesterday and I def strayed from form on my last rep (max out) at 235lbs...my question is prob geared towards some of the older vets..should i wear a belt on max out set? Should I take a break from the free weights and stick to smith machine and stuff like that? I woke up this morning and its really sore now so Im gonna go to chiro this morning but some help from some vets would help as well

I'm all for trying to workout thru injuries, but there is potential to turn a mild problem into a huge problem. With low back injuries if this gets worse you may have to layoff working out at all. I would say you should use a belt & drop your weights down atleast. I know its hard while on cycle, but you don't want to make it worse. Becareful Bro.

add a QUALITY belt and stay at 6 reps and above for a while , no heavy singles /doubles/or triples

be careful hombre its ur back . nasty injurys i no plenty of dudes who cant dead/squat ever again thanks to lower back issues. i would take some time off
