Back pumps and a little pain

gettingbig23

new to the game
I was trying to do heavy legs today and just could not. My lower back was giving out. It was like I had massive pumps but it hurt at the same time. It was kinda in my hips too. It hindered my work out I was so pissed.
I did a warm up on the bike. Than did stretching for like 15 mins, even broke a sweat doing it so I know I was warmed up pretty good.

Does anyone every have this problem? What did you do to fix it?

Welcome to the board. Were you doing squats when you got the back pmps?
Also are you taking d-bol? That bike for 15 min's isn't really necesaay if you just stretch good before your lifts. Stretching usually only takes 5-10 min's just learn the right ones.

I have exactly the same problem even, the pumps never really went away but constant stretching of the lower back and legs helped a little. Also I upped my water intake, the back pain could be from dehydration.

Have you ever had a lower back injury or leg injury before?

I have under developed muscles in my lower back along with tight hamstrings from a muscle tear that healed wrong. I have to do constant stretching exercises which help the cramps, but they never fully go away, especially when im on cycle.

you most likely are not engagin your core whne doing leg work
you need to create and hold your inter abdominal pressure (IAP)

without it you become unstable and put a lot of pressure on the low back/spine

i also agree warming up on the bike is totally unnecessary..if im gonna squat i warm up by squatting i use light enough weight to get blood to the areas that are going to be used..too mnay people hit 135 for reps and then maybe 185 and ten go right to 225 for shitty reps

Yea I have been drinking about a gallon of water a day.

I have had a lower back injury like 5 yrs ago playing football.

I know my hams are reall tight too. I have to stretch all the time.
This is hindering my leg work outs there has to be something to do about it?

Yes I started with squats. That when I get most of the pain. No on the d-bol. But I am on tren and I know some times tren can give massize pumps too. As for stretching I do normally do only 5-10 mins but I had this problem last leg work out so I thought I might try to stretch a little more.

Thanks for all your in put.
