Beginning Body Building, What foods should I make a part of my plan?

I just want to look good!
Right now I weight 205lbs, I am 6'2".
My goal is to gain mass, which I understand I have to consume MORE calories.

Anyone has any advice on how many calories to consume, foods to make the base of my diet and any additional information.

I have been working out for a year now, doing light cardio and light weights. I am TOTALLY interested in becoming a fitness model, and eventually get sponsored by Brands. While I have done some research about diet and such I'd like to know what you all think and can suggest. What is a clean diet?

I am really beginning to sound like a broken record but read this first post entirely. Figure out your BMR/TDEE then put a diet plan in place. We will help you if needed.

But its not a critique of my current diet I am seeking. My diet bad, I know this even without critiquing it. No breakfast, Fast food for lunch, ice cream before bed, etc. I simply am asking for a generalized guideline of foods that support substantial muscle growth and when to eat them. If the FDA can generalize body type, certainly we can generalize a muscle building diet.
 
i give u more then enough information on that post to get u in the right direction.. including sample diets.... take the time to read through it and DO EVERYTHING IT ASKS OF YOU.. and i will help you...
 
Also please keep in mind, I am new to the board, it is virtually impossible to read all posts on diet advice.. there may be someone else new who is an expert that has something to share with NEW information that hasn't been posted in the forum. I do apologize if I seem angry, I am not...just am excited to be a part of this site and the community and will keep your advice in mind in the future. Thank you for even responding bro.

iv been giving diet advice out to people on this board for a year.. iv helped over 1000 people in my career... if ur not willing to do whats asked of you then i cant help you...

im giving a service that is usually worth hundreds of dollars for free... plz try to put some effort into it..
