Best Way To Lean Out On Cycle?

Hey..Im running a 17 week test deca dbol cycle, and I will be going on a cruise weeks 15 and 16.
I am in week 2 and bulking up right now, but I'd like to be as lean as possible come week 15.
I mean should I just cut calories and up the cardio around week 9 or 10?? Will I lose a lot of gains this way?
Any suggestion?
 
cutting will cause you to lose gains . you need calories to grow and a calorie defecit to cut. decide if you want to add mass or cut. test/deca/dbol is a classic mass cycle , so i vote add mass. its your call.
 
true..Im just adding mass right now, I guess i just don't want to be a blob come cruise time..lol I'll try to keep the cals high, but will prolly just eat real clean going into week 10-12 or so. Should be able to drop a little water that way + aromasin should help a bit too.
Gonna try not to cut cals.
 
Var will help and increase LBM while cutting fat at the same time.

var is overrated as a fat cutter. it has been shown in some studies to some stomach fat. unless you are fairlly lean allready it wont be noticed and its not a very good mass drug either.
hes allready taking dbol , he doesnt need another oral even if it is var.

Point taken. From experience, I like it and have seen results.
 
So incorporating it say wks 5-12 of a 1-4wk dbol/12wk test/10wk deca isn't worth it in your opinion to harden things up? Granted it's pricey but some swear by it. Just probing a lil into it
 
I guess your body would tell you if your liver is getting hammered with toxicity (dark urine, lethargy, etc.) Milk Thistle daily and omega's to help your lipid profile. Dadawg, I'm just picking your brain. Me personally, I didn't run the dbol. Just the var at the end.
 
deca is THE mass gainer, i personally wouldnt do anything but eat like a horse and train 5x a week on deca lol... why do u want to lean out if u chose all mass gaining compounds... IMO u shud of gona with NPP for the first8 weeks of cycle... and then switched to something like masteron enethate for the rest of ur cycle or soemthing... just my 2 cents... gl bro
 
leaning out on Deca is not the best idea.

I was gonna say the same thing. Deca put a lot of water weight & mass on me. It was cool but for cutting deca isn't really the best compound. EQ might be a better compound for your long cycle to stay lean. You could pick some up & swap it with the deca.

I'd say do a lot of cardio but that'll hinder mass gains so it's hard to say. Your call. If you keep the diet clean w cardio not too much carbs and a good Aromatase inhibitor (AI) it should help keep you pretty lean.
