Best way to marinade Venison?

Dlove

Product of Test
Its that time of yr. again and the deer meat is abunden im wondering if just adding wine is the best way to marinade my venison?

Wine is good, if the venison is a gamey soaking it in milk seems to take away any gamey taste. A semi-dry rub of garlic olive oil and fennel is a great flavor for venison or pork.

I will try the milk tommorow I made it before you got back to me. I was on the money I rubbed garlic, olive oil and basil unfortunately no fennel in the house. I must say after all the meats I have tried deer meat makes me feel great.

The gamey taste of meats is great I wish I knew how to cook it more appropriately
I want to try Cougar real Bad. I will stock a freezer of it.
