Blazin's First Test E Cycle Log - with pics! Lets do it!

Hey all,

Doing my first Test E cycle.

500mg per week, injecting on Monday & Thursday into quads and glutes with 23g 1 1/4 pin. 12.5mg Aromasin EOD. Did my first injection on Monday into right glute.

Stats:
Training since high school when I started football.
...Now 21 years old, no longer playing footy but want to improve overall muscle mass and get a lot stronger.
Weight: 83kg (roughly 183lbs??)
Height: 5'9 or 5"10 there abouts anyway.

This will be a bulk cycle and I will be takin in a shit load of calories.


My diet will look roughly like this:

Breakfast: Oats, Protein Shake and Banana.

Snack (Mid Morn): Tin of tuna or protein shake and rice crackers

Lunch: Kangaroo, Sweet Poatato and salad or veges.

Snack: (Mid afternoon - PRE WORKOUT): Greek Yoghurt, walnuts & rice crackers.

Dinner: Usually steak, sweet potato and salad or veges.. if not steak, some sort of lean meat (kangaroo etc)

Before Bed: FULL serious mass shake (1250calories alone)

I will post up most of my workouts when I can and try make the log as best as I can (depending on how busy I am and if I can get on the computer)

BIT LATE BUT HERE WASYESTERDAYS WORKOUT!

CHEST:

Dumbbell Flat Bench Press
Warm up - 15kg each side, 20 reps
Warm up - 25kg each side, 15 reps
Working Set - 40kg each side - 10 reps
Working Set x 2 sets - 45kg each side - 6 reps

Barbell Incline was being used so I went and used a hammer strength incline machine which I actually love using, feel a good squeeze.

Hammer Strength Incline
1st Set - 30kg each side - 12 reps
2nd Set - same weight - 10 reps
3rd set - same as second, then to 10kg of each side and went until failure.

Bodyweight Dips (Will be adding weight to these in the future when I do them)
4 sets - Bodyweight only - 10 to 12 reps

Plate Loaded Cable Flyes
3 sets with 20kg each side - 12 reps
took a 5kg off each side on last and went until failure.

That was it for chest and also did 5 sets of seated calf raises afterwards to! Cant wait to see my strength increase in the next 12 weeks! Also note that I switch it up between barbell and dumbbell (ie One week barbell flat bench, next week dumbbell flat..but will also depends on what is being used - hate waiting on machines!!)

BACK/BIS WORKOUT TODAY! (No deads as all racks were taken!!)

Close Grip Lat Pulldown
2 warm up sets, 3 working sets (not sure of weight as they just go up by number etc)

Wide Grip Chin Ups (Body Weight)
3 Sets - 8 to 12 reps

Dumbbell Rows
3 Sets - 42.5kg - 8 reps

Seated Row
3 Sets - Pin weighted machine (had it on the 80kg pin)

Straight Bar Standing Lat Pulldown
3 Sets - 12 to 15 reps (lighter weight)

Seated Incline Dumbbell Curls
1 Set - Warm Up - 12.5kg each arm
3 Sets - 15kg each arm - 8 to 10 reps each side (arms were fucked after training back, haha)

Barbell Curls - 3 sets of 35kg - 10 reps.


OVERALL: Felt a awesome pump and the whole session felt good, was focussed the whole time...

TOMORROW: Leg day + second injection - Was going to pin right quad but will go left glute as I don't want to cork my leg before training legs!!

** 2nd Injection (Left Glute) + TODAY'S LEG WORKOUT **

Before I start, I just want to let you all know that I have a injury on my right lower hamstring that runs down to the top of my calf (Think it may be a slight tear or strain)..It restricted me a lot. Tried to do standing calf raises but could only go very very light.. Does not hurt as much when I do seated calf raises but didn't do these today as I only did them 2 days ago and still sore!

My workout was very scattered today aswell due to lack of free machines/racks!"

Dumbbell Stiff Legged Deads
1 warm up - 15kg each hand - 20 reps
4 sets - 37.5 kg each hand - 8 reps

Leg Extensions
(Pin weighted) - 3 sets - 10 reps

Hack Squat
1 set - 20kg each side - 15 reps
4 sets - 40kg each side - 8 reps

Hamstring Curls (Pin Weighted Machine)
Light due to injury - 3 sets - 12 reps


INJECTION WAS PAINLESS TODAY AND WENT WELL...VERY AVERAGE LEG SESSION - AND THIS HAMMY INJURY IS ANNOYING ME BECAUSE I WANT TO SMASH LEGS AS THEY ARE MY MAJOR LET DOWN IN MY PHYSIQUE... I WILL BE HITTING LEGS AGAIN ON SUNDAY AND WILLL CONTINUE TO DO THEM TWO TIMES A WEEK! I WILL FORCE THEM TO GROW!!!
 
Looking good bro keep it up. I'm with ya on the legs. Damn chicken legs WILL grow whether they want to or not! Twice a week for me too.
 
Shoulder Workout Today!

** ALSO, LAST WEEK I WAS 83.0KG AND STEPPED ON THE SCALES TONIGHT AFTER MY WORKOUT AND WAS 85.5KG ** Obviously water weight but gotta love seeing the scales go up!!!

Seated Barbell Shoulder Press
1 Set - 40kg - 20 reps
1 Set - 60kg - 12 reps
3 Sets - 80kg - 6 reps

Dumbbell Lateral Raises
3 Sets - 12.5kg each hand - 12 reps

Upright Row
3 Sets with 35kg bar - 10 reps

Front raises/Rear Delt Raises Superset
3 sets - 10 to 12 reps (15kg for front raises, 12.5kg each hand for rear delts
 
SUNDAY - 2ND LEG SESSION OF THE WEEK!
HAMSTRINGS WERE STILL SORE SO TOOK OUT MOST ISOLATION EXCERSICES AND JUST WENT FOR BIG MAIN MOVEMENTS.


Seated Calf Raises
1 set - 20kg - warm up - 20 reps
1 set - 40kg - warm up - 15 reps
1 set - 60kg - 12 reps
3 sets- 70kg - 8 to 10 reps

Squats
1 Set - warm up - bar only (20kg bar)
1 set - 60 kg - 15 reps
1 set - 80 kg - 8 reps
1 set - 100kg - 8 reps
1 set - 120kg - 5 reps

Lunges (with 17.5kg dumbbells each hand)
4 sets - 8 reps each leg . these were walking lunges outside the gym so the sun took it out of me!

Overall felt good hitting legs for the second time and cant wait to make these babies grow!!!

TOMORROW (Monday Australian Time): Rest day and also next injection.
 
Dude you have a great base from which to build off of. You've certainly put your time in the gym and it shows. Keep up the hard work and it will pay off dividends. I'm currently on week 4 of my first cycle and just started to notice a difference. Like everyone has said, keep us posted. It will be nice to track your results. Best of luck to you OP.

**REST DAY - 29.04.13**

PLUS 3RD INJECTION - WENT INTO RIGHT GLUTE, PAIN FREE JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT LOL. GOING TO THE LOCAL STEAK HOUSE FOR A MASSIVE FEED (STEAKS FOR ONLY $10!)

Should be a good day of eating and resting!

TOMORROW: CHEST DAY

I will start posting up when I break PB's as I don't want to keep posting up the same workout's week after week, haha.

No PB's today but still pressing the 45kg DB's for 5 to 6 reps so I am very happy with that!

**WEIGH IN**
Exactly 8 days since first injection and I started at exactly 83kg. Today, on the same scales, I was 86kg! Like I said, I know its probably just a lot of water weight but I love seeing the scales go up regardless! Diet has also been spot on! Can't wait to see further results!

DAY 9 TODAY - Definitely noticed the pump I had was the best in a long time for back and bi's tonight! Loving it.
Also up 3kg on scales as previously mentioned (obviously water retention but love it anyway haha!)

TOMORROW (DAY 10) - Injection Number 4 (Left Glute)
PLUS: Legs!

QUESTION: If my glutes are not feeling sore from injecting can I just keep swapping from left to right glute each injection? OR should I be doing in quads aswell. I only have 23g 1 1/4" pins.
