Blood after T shot....................

Just did a shot of 60 mg in upper outer quad.....
not in usual spot, but an inch or so away from previous slight bruise....
noticed blood come out at end of shot...
I usually don't get any blood...this was a bit more than normal...
is this a broken blood vessel ?

Yeah. You probably hit one with the needle. It happens. No big deal. I always keep some to next to me when I pin just in case this happens.

Does this affect the oil placement into your muscle.

Latley I have been bleeding badly from my glutes. Injecting in the same spot and same technique.
Also I notice the needle is getting harder to push in. Could this be scar tissue?

I've switched to quads but would like to use glutes still on the future

Negligible impact. Don't lose sleep over it.

Rotating spots is important. Have at least 4 spots. 6 is better. Glutes, quads and delts are great spots to pinn. And each has a little room so don't pin the exact same location every time.

I've heard the IM scar tissue in injection sites accumulates over the long term when on TRT and this may contribute to decrease in absorption of T....
what's your take on that ?

The nurse at the place I get shots usually asks which arm, and I usually go with my left. Then I sometimes switch to the right (Delt, not arm really). She's never asked me to drop my pants (Unfortunately...). I will be doing more than 1 site per week coming the next couple of weeks.

I've done glutes on my own, no problem. I've never done delts or quads on my own...never done quads at all. Seems like it would be the most painful of the 3 (Delts, quads, glutes)

Quads are fine. It is a big muscle. And they are easy because everything is right in front of you and you CSB use two hands. Just stay to the outside of the muscle. Look at the spot injections website for tips.

You probably just ran through a vein, every once in a while ill do the same and see a stream of blood will shoot out of my quad literally 2 feet, lol. Its nothing to worry about.

Do you inject with a slin pin? Ive recently switched over to this method and love it. It cuts down significantly on scar tissue. Especially for long term injectors.

If you're talking about a decrease in the RATE of absorption (due to reduced vascularization of the scar tissue vs. healthy tissue), then it seems plausible, but a decrease in the AMOUNT absorbed doesn't seem likely. What would be happening to it? The T would stay in the injection site without ever being absorbed?

It seems to me that it would take a pretty dramatic and palpable scarring to have much of the former effect.

I just use a 29gauge 1/2 inch insulin needle and alternate delts. No pain no visible scar tissue. Easy.

Don't know why guys still use 22-25 gauge monsters in their glutes and quads ;).

Isn't that a bitch to push in? I have problems with some oils with a 25g shit comes out slow as molasses and it's hard when injecting with one hand

No, it takes a minute or two to draw, but usually faster then a 25 gauge.
Comes out easily, could force it all in a few seconds, but I usually take 15-30 seconds.
Very Easy.

I just did my first injection today. I pinned my quad and when I pulled out, I had a small amount of blood come out. I have read this is very common and even expected when pinning the quads.

No slin pin...
1 CC barrel with 23 G 1" tip

Give a slin pin a shot man, if you have an area that's lean enough to hit the tissue, Ive recently switched to this method and love it. I backload a slin pin (Riprockwell has a sticky on procedure) and give er, much less scar tissue and no pain whatsoever, ever. Might be a pain in the ass if youre shooting multiple CCs but if memory serve me correct you are not. I think this is something you should try out, itll reduce scar tissue in the long run.

May try it for lats and delts. I'll stick with 23g 1.5 for glutes and 23g 1inch for quads

Have a little junk in my trunk. Lol not really but my glutes never get pip so a 23g doesn't bother it
