blood donation and lab results

ok so I donated blood for the fist time today and am having my bloods in the morning for a new dr, what I am wondering is will my lab work come out normal or would this make my redd blood cell count lower or anything else?

It will lower your RBC, hemoglobin and hematocrit values. That's one of the reasons for you having donated, right?

yes that is correct! Just was not sure if labs would change so fast. Plus I saved up to three lives!!!

It lowers them pretty rapidly. Probably depends on how quickly you replace fluids afterwards.

Lowers Ferritin too. I wouldn't be too concerned with the RBC's coming back lower....
They don't tank out....I'm assuming you had pretty good numbers already since this is your first time donating.
