Was doing an NPP shot tonight in my quad and, as usual, I pulled back to make sure I wasn't hitting a vein. I didn't notice any blood in the syringe at the time, but as I was pulling it out, I noticed a small amount of blood in the tiny clear cartridge at the base of the syringe where you can unscrew the needle. I'm a tad nervous, but when I'm pushing the NPP in the needle tends to fluctuate in depth in my thigh as I'm pressing the plunger (I'm not the steadiest of hands), making me think if was in a vein it was only temporarily and little to none would have made it in the vein. I should also mention that I used the same general area in my thigh for my cyp shot a couple of days ago. What do you guys think?
