Blood test questions. Low HDL and slightly low GGT.

Hello everyone!

Just got my answers from the blood test (not full though) and it showed:

Cholesterol:
3.1mmol/l
ref = 2.9-6.1

HDL:
0.3mmol/l (low)
ref = 0.8-2.1

LDL:
2.3mmol/l
ref = 1.2-4.3

ALAT:
56U/L
ref = 10-80

GGT:
9U/L (slightly low)
ref = 10-80

Lactate Dehydrogenase:
199U/L
ref = 105-205

Basic phosphatase:
74U/L
ref = 35-105

Triglyceride:
1.1mmol/l
0.45-2.6

Kalium:
4.0mmol/l
ref = dosent say

Creatinin:
97mmol/l
ref = 60-105

Hemoglobin:
9.3mmol/l
ref = 8.0-11.0

My doc didn't order the full test so I'm trying to find a place where i can pay for a full one and get it all checked out.

Though back to the test. What has been measured seems okay except HDL and GGT.
I know low HDL can cause heart problems on the long run and I am trying to eat more fat fish but what else can i do?
I tried searching for low GGT (it's only slightly lowered) but couldn't find anything besides high GGT so I assume the slightly lowering might be due to the HDL since GGT (as I understand it) is found mostly bound to HDL. Should I do something about the GGT or/and can I or will it correct if/when i get control of my HDL levels?

With the current liver indicators, it seems like i could start out on my Dbol, right?

Best regards!

HDL is hard to raise. Being healthier and exercising more helps.

You can take niacin which increases HDL. But there is some evidence out there showing that despite increasing HDL, that niacin doesn't result in improved health outcomes.

Fish oil as you mentioned.

In general, soluble fiber improves lipid profiles.

As for your Dbol question, you will have to expand on the cycle you are thinking of running. I hope it isn't an oral-only cycle.

Thanks for your response Mega!

Currently doing 500 mg test pr week (been going for 1 week) and as soon as i had the results back (assuming good results) i would throw in Dbol and deca. The cycle would look like this:

1-15 Test e 250mg E3D
2-15 Deca Dura 200mg E3D
2-5 Dbol 40mg ED (split in 2 doses)
10-13 Dbol 40mg ED (split in 2 doses (this depends on midway bloods))

I was considering B&C instead of doing PCT but if I am not able to raise HDL levels midways I guess I would have to do PCT and get it up while being off?
As said I eat fish oil every day and I am starting to eat more fat fish and as you mentioned soluble fibers to see if it helps. I Looked at Niacin and came to the same conclusion (from what i read) and thus not considering it as it would be an extra expense which may not help on the heart at all.

Best regards!

Keep in mind that taking Test often lowers HDL. I don't think being on it for one week would be long enough to affect it, but who knows.

If you do decide to PCT, make sure you end the deca a couple of weeks before you end test. Deca has a longer lasting ester.

I wouldn't preclude niacin due to cost. It is pretty cheap.

Yeah, I have enough test to blast a week or two more to prevent the deca issue. I will see what happens when i get the midway bloods. I might be inclined to accept the risk of running a year and a half B&C with the HDL since I plan to compete in late '15. I will try to check the price on Niacin later today and if it aint that bad then I agree, that it can't harm to try it out.

Read up on how to use niacin. You need to build up tolerance. The flushing you can get can be quite painful and uncomfortable.
