Doing the TRT thing
A little background before I reveal my blood test results:
Now it's been about 6 months since I've been off TRT and done the post cycle therapy (pct) and I'm feeling the same low T symptoms.
BUT... I just got my bloodwork done and here are the results:
8/20/2011
Total Testosterone: 742
Free Testosterone: 126.9
LH: 2.5
WTF? How do I go from low T to "normal" T especially after being on TRT for 6 months?
I'm 26 years old, so 742 isn't anything amazing... But I fully expected my T to be 300 or below considering my previous blood tests and the fact that I was on TRT and natural levels were suppressed for 6 months...
I wonder if I could have just done the post cycle therapy (pct) instead of going on TRT in the first place to jump start my natural T production...?
The really strange thing is my LH is now only 2.5 which kind of sucks considering it was 5.0 on my original blood test.
Here are my previous blood tests:
10/7/2010 - (On TRT)
Total Testosterone: 1,203
Free Testosterone: 334.4
Estrogen: 232
LH: <0.2
7/10/2010 - (On TRT)
Total Testosterone: 2,190
Free Testosterone: 759
Estrogen: 161
LH: <0.2
12/12/2009
Total Testosterone: 387
Free Testosterone: 102.9
LH: 5.0
9/19/2009
Total Testosterone: 350
Free Testosterone: 77
LH: N/A
How can my LH be 5.0 with only 387 total T in this bloodword, but my last bloodwork shows 2.5 LH and 745 total T.
Seems like the less LH the less T I should be producing but apparently I'm missing something.
FINAL NOTE:
I'm still waiting for my Estrogen results. For whatever reason they didn't get that back yet. I wouldn't be surprised if my estrogen was out of whack because I just feel like something's not right.
- Got tested for low T awhile ago (total T was 350)
- Went on TRT for about 6 months
- Got off TRT and did a post cycle therapy (pct) and took a few natural herbs to try and restart my natural T.
