Blood test

So I'm going to get a blood test at privatemdlabs this week
Going to get the Hormone panel for females which includes a regular E2 test and I’m going to get a separate sensitive E2 test.
I would like to know the difference in the two tests since I’ve been reading that the sensitive is the only accurate test. Has anyone else done this or know what the difference is in actual numbers?

ok so yesterday I went and had the Hormone panel for females and I added the sensitive E2 test so i should have some results today or tomorrow.

Great, keep us updated. There were some older posts on this. At one point there was some concern that the regular test is not accurate enough. That concern seems to have died down. No doubt the sensitive test is a bit more accurate. There are a lot of us that use the Hormone panel for females. It would be great to get another data point on this.

This is a tough thing to figure out. The results from single blood test are just a snapshot of a single point in time. So even if the test is 100% accurate it may not be really representative of what is going on ... since your blood levels can vary over time.

Hopefully you will see the two E2 tests track each other reasonably well. I'm pretty sure that if your E was in the 70-80 range, both tests will tell you that. Similarly if your E is in the 10-15 range, both tests will tell you that. This is basically what I use the regular E2 test for.

Ok so I got the hormone panel for females and the sensitive e2 test also.
My protocol is the following
Test Cyp 50mg E3D
HCG 200iu E3D
Arimidex .25 E3D

My test is still to high
Test came back over 1500
Regular E2 was 20
Sensitive E2 was 4
I dont feel like my E2 was that low and Im surprised my test was that high. Anyway, thinking Im going to reduce my Test down to 25mg E3D
Any thoughts Guys?

The results are ... strange. Hopefully someone will have some advice. When did you have the blood drawn with respect to your last pin ... day 3 ?

After 4 days, I am well below 1500 at a 100mg dose (but I don't take HCG). Sounds like you have to pick one E2 test and use that. Seems like your E is a bit low. I shoot for around 30 on the regular E2 test. At least you are not feeling crappy.

Yup it was on day three just guessing that I'm very sensitive to the T injections I guess? IDK maybe that is good thing I can do a lot less with good results. The e2 could be a bit higher but I don't feel all that bad. I have been a little tired as of late so I'm sure this is a reason. Like I said I'm going to reduce down to 25mg E3D and retest in a month.

Imo dont drop it that low. I would drop it to around 35/40mg a week and see where you sit. That hcg is boosting your t levels nicely. If your going to lower T remember to scale back Aromatase inhibitor (AI) appropriately also.
