Blood work update.....whats the next step?

Serm's brought my levels to a more "normal" point but If I still dont feel any significant improvement with SERM's does that mean that going for injections is useless at this point?

No, it does not mean that. Many guys have the same experience as your with SERMs.

Hey guys I did a blood test last week here are the results. Even if my TT and T seem in normal good range im kinda disappointed because I expected a bigger improvement in drive+mood. Can Serm's mask the benefits of treatment ? Also my T3 went up ? Any feedback is appreciated.

So your doctor wants u to continue on this?
For how long?
I don't know how you feel but Estradiol is getting lowish....
It's a reg panel too....keep in mind.

I thought u were Canadian...
And I know the lab you went to...
Well leave that aside..
We're you well hydrated for this blood test?
That's a hefty hematocrit for such a low T level...
You went first thing in a.m right?
Before 9 am ??

Yeah im Canadian.

I went at 8 am ....I dont think I was well hydrated.

Pre treatment my hemacrotic were around the same.

What gives?

Some guys just require more to feel better. I felt like crap at the 400's, so it's entirely possible that you just haven't reached the point where you experience the therapeutic benefits.

FT3 being slightly out of range is normal when testosterone production has been restored. I had a terrible time with heat when I first started TRT, as my body was busy constantly fixing itself. I'd drop the AI if you're going to continue with the SERM treatment.

My doctor told me that we could move on to Test Cypionate or stay on Serms.

As of now honestly there was no big change in me. Yes im stronger in arms and legs, a bit more horny but I dont see any significant difference im me overall.

Thanks for the feedback. I could try drop the AI and see how I feel.

Out of curiosity at what levels do you feel good? TT, T, E2

I found my happy spot at 750-1000ng/dL TT, and an E2 of around 30-40pg/ml non-sensitive assay. By T, do you mean free T, or T3? I honestly don't keep track of either of those currently as I'm on exogenous T3, and my free test bounces all over the place usually around 150% of the upper range (normal for TRT patients on an AI).

Good to know.

Also my ferritin went up.

Baseline: 380 ( 24-336 ) Ug/L High

October: 432 ( 24-336 ) Ug/L High

---------------

At what point should I donate blood ?

Usually at the blood donation place do you tell them ur on TRT?

Don't wait to donate blood. Just make it part of your regular protocol. Donate a pint every 56 days which is the most frequent they allow.

You do not have to tell them you are on TRT -- nor should you. Just answer their intake form questions.

How did you convince your doctor to treat your thyroid issue ? Is it the same doctor for your TRT?
