How thick are the boards. I need help making board press sets.

Do this help you lift more by working through certain zones?

no problem...i made 2-4 boards witha few pieces left over so i can tape it to the 4 board an make a 5brd out of it..

it cost me 20 bucks for the material at home depot

I use 2x6's. I go to home depot get one and have them cut it in 1.5' sectiosn for me.
I usea bungee cord to hold them on me cause I work out alone.

Lat's baords are better if you have spotters. Excellent form there by the way...

2 x 6's here. i duct taped them together- made em smooth so there aren't any splinters.
if you bat your eyelashes, the guys at home depot will cut the board into sections for you.

You use a bungee for what? To strap boards to your body while lifting or to hold boards together?

depends on what kinda benching you doing too. if you training for open back dbl ply benching then a pitch and catch is preferred board training. i have videos posted of this kinda training. as well as what the boards look like. if you benching raw or closed back shirt then the board presses are done more of a traditional style of benching. these dont require the same set up on the boards. i have these vids posted to. under raw bd work.

I take a 2 boards and screw them together and I take 3 boards and screw them together, I have one left over. I used duck tape to tape them up and make them look purty. I have a few sets of bungee cords which I use to hold the board together and to hold them on my body.

They stay on the chest pretty well if your um.....belly isn't....well....big. I get hit in the chin with the boards now and again, but I stilldon't have many problems using them unattached of unnassited.
