Bowflex

I use bowflex. I have the ultimate.

Its funny, so many BB's would think it would suck, but it doesnt.

I am able to do every exercise I used todo at golds gym very easily on the BF. I love it. I have gained a little over 26 pounds of LBM on my cycle + 100% workouts from bowflex.

Don't get me wrong, the gym is great(especially for getting motivation from others). I have a very busy schedule, and being able to workout at home is what I needed.

If you were to rate my satisfaction from 1-10, I would say 10.

Dude I know. Its a good machine. Most people that say it sucks have never even tried it.!!!! I went to the gym for many years.I was a freeweight fan from the beginning. But this machine is awesome...awesome pump! I have the ultimate also.

one of my buddies has one and i love it.
in his other room he has freeweights and a bench
best of both worlds....:yesway:

I know that the ultimate has some sort of attchement that resembles squating but what does the bowflex have to replace Deadlifts? I need my dealifts...:)

Hmm I'm trying to think how that would work? I can't really imagine it. How high does the resistance go to? 400lbs? I really don't think a bowflex would be good for gaining power. How bout you guys?

I have seen them advertised on tv and thought it was just a joke. I guess someone actually uses it. I personnally couldn't workout at home and I am anti-home gym stuff. Something always comes up so you can't use it. When I go to the gym nothing can get in the way.

A friend of mine has one and is getting great results from it. Its fun to use but I still prefer going to the gym.

Ok tried it this weekend at a buddy's house.
Its an ok machine for Circut training, but not so much for strenght training. But thats just my 2 cents.

Gotta be pretty weak to use it as it only goes up to 400 lbs....
I bought a complete ironmaster system, iron master dbells to 120lbs..multiple bars, power rack and benches seated calf machine 1000 lbs of free weights and mats for what one sorry ass bowflex would cost.
Getting ready ot add a hack and 45 degree leg press machine and I still work out in the gym.

lol. Go ahead and rip.

For the group of us who don't bench over 410 pounds, bowflex is plenty of weight.
