Brand new, many question: Muscular Dystrophy

Hello all!
I'm new to this forum, and any bodybuilding/steroid forum for that matter. I'm 23. Male. And I have a condition called Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (yeah, say that 5 times fast). There was one other member who posted with the same condition last year but that thread appears to be dead with little information. Basically I'm in research mode right now. This condition has caused wasting of the muscles in my shoulders, abdomen, chest, and most recently my biceps. A few years ago I had a gym partner and we were lifting 6-7 days a week for 1.5-3 hours per day, and we were both using Tren 250. Don't know much about Tren it was recommended by a friend I did a little research and figured I would try it. I had some pretty good gains, better than my partner in fact. But I have since taken a break from working out and recently decided it was time to get back into the gym. I'm looking for any information about anything that might help my condition and improve my quality of life.

As I am right now I can no longer lift my arms above my shoulders, I can no longer do situps, and the pain in my back is getting worse. I am now 6 feet tall and 260 pounds, way overweight now, and I'm hoping to get back down to the low 200s or high 100s. I've shed 30 pounds in the past 3 months primarily with dieting and light exercising; low weights, lots of cardio, regular weight loss routine.

Any information is greatly appreciated!

Great job so far on your weightloss. I would keep up the cardio and try to intensify it by doing some HIIT. Also gear is not the answer for you yet. If you could get a script for some hgh that would probably help but that's not easy to get. There are sites you can buy it from but it's hard to find good quality and it is a bit expensive.

Great info! I will add HIIT to my workouts! What is hgh usually prescribed for? Know of anything used specifically for muscular dystrophy? The latest information about my condition states that the issue is on a genetic level, here's a quote to make it a bit easier:

"Recent findings suggest that the flawed DNA on chromosome 4 may play an important role in telling the cell which genes should be processed into proteins and which shouldn’t. All cells have genes that are “turned on” (available to be processed for protein production) and others that are “turned off” (not available for processing). This gene regulation is what distinguishes one type of cell from another — for example, a muscle cell from a bone cell."

I've been pretty unsuccessful finding much information about how to treat my condition, so lately I've been doing some trial and error research of my own, which is exactly why I'm here :)
