bulk and cut at same time?

I've hear it said more than a few times that its posible to bulk up, and cut at the same time. can someone please explain this to me, im not sure it can be done??
 
but how? correct me if im wrong, but in order to get bigger, you take in more callories, and do less cardio. when you cut, you reduce calories, and cardio more. how can you eat more and less at the same time? i dont understand.

Bro, its "somewhat" more to it then that. Anyways, diet correctly and it will happen. If you know youre body good u wont need to super bulk like some ppl do.
 
i think I am following you... so you eat just enough to continue building muscle, but not add excess fat, and you cardio just enough to maintain bf % ? am I close?
 
I think it is possible. just eat 2-2.5 gram per pound of bodyweight and 1.5g of carb per pound of body weight and rotate your carb sometimes. Timing is everything.....

keep training and pump up the volume.:)
 
the timing of your carbs is the trick, not necessarily the amount.

anything over 2g of pro per pound of BW is tough. i weigh 300ish and have a tough time taking in 600g per day. i hit over 5 a day and some days get 600 or more. 2.5 would be 750, i hate to even think about that.

1.5-2 is a good rule of thumb. 2 while ON and 1.5 while OFF, if you come off that is.
 
you shoud always be gaining muscle. wether you loosing bf, stayin the same of gaining bf. adding a bit of fat is the best forum for adding muscle but it can be done in any of the three phases mentioned. it just affects the speed at which it is accomplished.

1. Well when am i supposed to eat my carbs then? Please tell me the trick about carbs because i'm really confused.

2. 600 grams of protein per day is the most i have ever heard of. I heard ronnie coleman doesn't even eat that much. I thought he only ate 500 grams of protein per day.
 
Cutting AND bulking? Pick one and do it.

When can you bulk and cut? It CAN be done if you are REALLY new to lifting. Add Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) to the picture and it will make it a lot easier.

I look at the "bulk AND cut" the same way that I do a "shampoo & conditioner in one" product. They can work but at the end of the shower you end up with hair that isn't completely clean or completely conditioned.

Pick one and go with it hard and heavy.

i know one guy that was taking in a kilo of protein a day while bulking.

You heard ronnie dont take in but 500g/d? i seriously doubt that.

i said i try to take in 600 but often times i only get 500 or so. some days i get more than 600. my shakes are 105g a each. and yes my body uses it.

I am available for on line training. This includes a lifting program that will put lean body mass on you. I can set your nutrition up so that you can put on size/strength more quickly or you can loose BF and get stronger at the same time.
