hi everyone i need some advice! I'm into weight training but i'm also really into my cardio as well, i have just joined the army so i'm always running, playing soccer etc. I really want to bulk up and stay running fit as well...so what is the best way to do this? Please help!

If ya whant to bulk up ya need to keep your cardio down some what maybe 3 times a week @ 30min per. Also try taking in some weight gainer for awhile and also mix in some whey protein and some fruit and vegs as well, if ya can afford it try eating some type of salmon like red sockeye or pink salmon, i usually get mine thats in a can its like 8-10 oz. per container, tuna is also good as well for me i think natural proteins are key builders, P.S. get your self a good multi vit. and train hard.

thanks. I bulked up quite a bit before army training, but when i returned I was gutted to find I had lost about 10lbs - all my hard work down the pan! I guess i just need to find the right balance between weights and cardio training.

Military training will do that to ya for sure, anyways good luck. Alpha 1

A good bulking routine that will possible increase your level of cardiovascular fitness is 20rep squats or breathing squats--try it out they kick ass and they will get you breathing heavily as if you just sprinted up 20 flights of stairs.

hey dude, im in the military also... sucks dont it? well for bb it does..
the food at the chow hall isnt ideal to put on much size (muscle that is)
to seriously bulk up though, you look like an endomoprh and could prolly eat like 5000 cals a day if you wanted...
get a good bulking diet, a good workout routine
for your cardio- try to keep it to a minimum, and beacuse of that, do interval training, like high intensity short interval training... sprints, etc...
