Is it bad to consume a box of this stuff daily? an entire box is only 12gs of sat fat. Can this be dangerous or should i just replace it with brown rice chicken and milk?

I ate an entire box the other day after I had my tooth pulled. was so hungry and they said mac n cheese was acceptable so I crushed a box. kinda sucks that I don't tolerate dairy well cuz I had to run to the toilet about ten min later, but it was delicious. eat up bro

Hahaha good lookin out bro yea my stomach tolerates dairy very well fortunately! My main concern is can to much processed pasta cause diabetes or some type of health risk long term? I know the sodium is heavy but my BP is fine. I dont wanna be one of those guys who gets health problems down the road from dirty bulking like a maniac.

My bulking diet is as follows thus far.. Meal 1- milk/whey/oats PWO - milk/whey/bagel Meal 3 - Box of Velveeta Shells n Cheese/milk Meal 4 - white pasta/chicken Meal 5 - white pasta/chicken or tuna Meal 6 - Casein or greek yogurt

I think everything is pretty damn clean for the most part and the macros are solid but im worried that all the processed white pasta regularly can cause diabetes or some weird shit...

Also, can doing regular bloodwork allow me to monitor such risks? =)

I'd work in more whole foods with protein like meats/chicken/fish instead of relying on whey sources. You can easily develop a food allergy if you eat the same things over and over as Austinite mentioned. Yes, you can monitor blood glucose - which can be done with a handheld meter instead of investing in regular blood tests.

I'd still get blood tests before, during and after a cycle - but no need to get extra ones just to check fasting glucose.

Good idea man Ima go to walmart and grab me one of them meters! Also, is 3 shakes a day really all that bad? I thought morning/post workout/before bed was solid times to get em in? Also, sometimes when I'm not at home to cook up my pasta Ill mix it up and grab a giant turkey bacon avocado from subway once or twice a week and occasionally a cheat meal with some n n out lol... Am i being to anal at this point? I get the feeling a lot of the guys on here are on the see food diet lol! Also i suppose it wouldnt kill me to cook up some eggs in the morning when i gots the time =)

You should be good. I'm not sure what level you're at in your development, but if you're anything like me (5'8 193-196 fluctuating and prob 12% bf), you've got a lot of room to grow! It's a bulking diet, so there's much more stress on trying to consume an abundance of calories on your mental state and I think eating meals like mac and cheese every so often relieves some of that stress on the mind. But of course as mentioned keep it within reason. You want to be a big kid not a fat kid. Personally, I put on my Betty Crocker apron and bake either an arm roast or rump roast all day, and then slice it up into thick homemade roast beef sandwiches. Add some swiss cheese and dijon mustard and I'm a happy guy with a quick snack between meals.

Honestly, I'd post your diet up on 3J's thread in the diet section and see what he thinks. I do think 3 shakes a day is excessive as you don't get the micronutrients or aid of digestive enzymes from actually chewing whole food. I'm still on a deficit, but when I go to bulk, you can bet there's going to be a TON of beef/steak/chicken/tuna/tilapia/trout/avocados/red potatoes/sweet potatoes/green beans/eggs/broccoli/lettuce/asparagus/brown rice/oats in my shopping cart. ;)

Hey fuck it if your gunna do it do it right add a pound of bacon to that shit!! There's some protein for your ass

lolol! I dont eat the same thing EVERY single day. I live with people who cook up meals and ill swap cals for meals they cook sometimes to mix it up from time to time! I'm sure that probably with the food allergy thing.
My thing is when bulking I have to eat 4k a day to gain maybe a pound a week its stupid so constantly switching everything ALL the time is a bitch and a half mentally so maybe once every cpl weeks ill revisit my staple diet plan and change things up.

Also, I will heed your advice halfwit. I always appreciate sound advice from more experienced bros~

Do most of you guys also count calories and macros? im assuming yes. i just recently started doing this and it can be mentally taxing at times but it does work

Lots of meal planning and cooking ahead of time.

I honestly learned a TON by hiring 3J for a cut and have gone from there. I'm likely going to hire him in the future when I'm ready for a bulk as I want to see how the pros do it. Hard to argue with a guy that earns folks gold medals in competitions. ;)

I do not. Don't feel I'm at that level yet. For now I just eat until I can't eat anymore and then force myself to eat more.

Hah, just goes to show how long it has been since I've had mac n cheese! :spin:

Im sorry sir but youre speaking of a whole new horse in a different color. SHELLS bro. And that cheese sauce packet...not the powder, milk, and butter recipe. It just aint the same!

Not that I still eat it :yumyum:
