bunch of noob questions

hey im new to dis forum and new to weight lifting, so spare me the "dumbass, dumbshit, ect... anywhoo the questions i have is:
how do u get more cut rather than bulky?
how do u get more bulky rather than cut?
is the advantages of being cut and advantages of being bulky?
how long should u rest between each sets?
wut is better, more reps or more weight?

no im not afraid of gaining weight, i been trying to actually, but i been 175 for about 6 months now. im trrying to get big for football and im a d end. im not big enough to play varsity
 
okay before you get banned I will answer your questions

1)proper diet
2)proper diet
3)personaly preference(looks or sport advantages)
4)i usually rest around 45/min between sets
5)low reps/heavy weight(general rule of thumb to gain size)

Please don't even come close to touching gear now, you will thank me later
