buying syringe's over the counter

Does anyone know if I can buy syringe's over the counter at a CVS or Walgreens in Indiana??

Or is it just less of a hassle & order them from get-pinz? I don't want to argue with some pharmacist about what there for.

Thanks

Ordering online in bulk is the way to go...however I've run out before and had to go to the local drugstore. Pretty awkward lol but it's none of their business. Not here anyway! I've said everything from 'it's for B12 injections, and yes I need that 1.5" needle' to 'I'm building a model airplane and the syringe is best for drawing the logos...and yes, I need that 1.5" needle'

Some states require prescriptions, but that isn't usually the limiting factor in the sale. It is legal in Alabama to purchase syringes and needles, but back in the day, I was refused multiple times. Maybe because I looked like a nefarious drug abuser....who knows...

CVS and Walgreens are less likely to sell them than smaller mom and pop places. But why go through the suffering when all you have to do is look online? Google it. Easy and cheap.

Buy online. I can get them here at Wal-Mart at any size along with my slin, but online is the way to go

here in ma you can. usually order on line but sometimes forget and have to get at cvs. used to feel like they would think i was doing heroin or something til a friend said "look at you" obviously it's for steroids lol... now i just smile :)

Even in states where it's legal to purchase over the counter without a prescription, the pharmacist is likely to treat you like a junkie. I would just order online.

You have to have a prescription to buy syringes over the counter in Arkansas. I don't know about Indiana. Funny story though, my girlfriend's dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I recognized the syringes she was using. Her parents think I knew how to give the dog its insulin because I'm a nursing student.
