Can anyone ID this guy?

a fat ass!
No, his chest, shoulders, traps, and stomach wouldnt have fit shape if he was simply fat. There would be jelly roles upon jelly roles, and shoulders+neck would look just like a skinny guy except they would be wider in the front and back(from fat). Also, if it wasnt obvious to the average person that he is NOT a fat ass(inducing that your opinion must not be average, therefore it should usually notion some sort of explenation) he wouldnt be shirtless, and on account of his decent tan, have been shirtless quite often, or especially be confidant enough to ride a motorcycle shirtless. And If you had read just about any of the posts above you'd realize that he is made of muscle, and a little fat to help him with the muscle part, and that he is pretty much a beast, and nothing like a fat ass. You can tell that hes about ready to pick up that motorcycle and throw it at you.

So why the hell is he a fat ass?????????

that has got to be one of the scariest looking individuals i have ever seen.

its hard to make eye contact with even his picture.

He's obviously a very muscular man. He is also carrying a lot of bodyfat, but when considering the sport and the fact that great gross weight helps for heavier lifts, it certainly makes sense. Same thing with offensive linemen in football. I don't think he wants to be a bodybuilder so the bodyfat issue isn't really his concern.

There is functional and non-functional hypertrophy. Not all big guys are strong, and not all strong guys are big. Obviously he has both.

Sarcoplasmic hypertrophy (common in bodybuilding) involves the growth of the sarcoplasm (fluid like substance) and non contractile proteins that do not directly contribute to muscular force production. Filament area density decreases while cross-sectional area increases, without a significant increase in strength.

Myofibrillar hypertrophy occurs due to an increase in myosin-actin filaments. Contractile proteins are synthesized and filament density increases (Zatsiorsky 1995). This type of hypertrophy leads to increased strength production. Sarcoplasmic Hypertrophy Muscle fibers adapt to high volume training by increasing the number of mitochondria (organelles in the cell that are involved in ATP production) in the cell. This type of training also leads to the elevation of enzymes that are involved in glycolytic and oxidative pathways. The volume of sarcoplasmic fluid inside the cell and between the cells are increased with high volume training.

That was beautiful. :insane2: :D

you think hes carrying a lot of body fat? you cant be serious. compared to who ronnie whens he dieted down for the O?

I am completely serious. You don't think he's carrying a lot of fat? I would guess him in the low to mid 20's on bodyfat. I have done over 1500 bodyfat exams and I'm certfied in it as well, and I can pretty accurately guage people's bodyfat just by looking at them. I would say that's about right. What would you guess him at? He's obviously not in the same league as competitive bodybuilders, nor should he be.

Since we have no idea how big the guy is, aside from pics, it's difficult to say. I have tested lots of big people, from bodybuilders, football players and powerlifters, though from the looks of him, I doubt as heavy. I did test a woman one time that clearly outweighed him, as disgusting as that may sound. You can diss certifications all you want but the point is to make the measurements as accurate and repeatable as possible. If you want to go to the gym and hold a bioimpedence BF analyzer that tells you that you're 5% that's fine, but don't declare it's accuracy. It the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry by the way.

db what exactly are you asking for?

I'm asking for his height and weight. Is that so unusual, when someone posts a picture of a big scary looking fucker, to be curious about just exactly HOW big he is?

I dont think I have a problem agreeing with that. I have spent a lot of my life in the 14-15% bodyfat range, did I develop insulin resistance from drinking so much milk (which is low GI but does not act as such)? I really dont know, but either way around age 12 or so I became skinny/fat instead of just skinny.

Most athletic people consider anyone over 10% as being a fucking fatass, and frankly 14-19% on the scale of "average Americans" rates as "good." So not everyones idea of fatass is the same thing. I was around 13.8% last I checked, which not everyone would be proud of. But 6% is not in me naturally without some hard and long ass work, and forget maintaining that. Too much pain in the ass.
